TNA Impact! TV Tapings Night 1 Spoilers

TNA Wrestling held the first night of a new set of television tapings on Friday at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This new set of tapings focused on the build for Slammiversary 2024 and will be for future episodes of TNA Impact!

As noted before, three WWE NXT talents made surprise appearances at the tapings. They were Izzi Dame and No Quarter Catch Crew’s Charlie Dempsey & Myles Borne.

TNA Xplosion:

• FIR$T CLA$$ (Rich Swann & AJ Francis) defeated Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams)
• Sami Callihan defeated Trent Seven
• Moose defeated Bhupinder Gujjar
• Ace Austin defeated Brian Myers

TNA Impact!:

• Johnny “Dango” Curtis defeated Chris Bey. Near the end of the match, The System’s Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers interfered to help Curtis pick up the victory.
• Leon Slater vs. Trey Miguel went to a No Contest. Near the end of the match, NXT talent Charlie Dempsey made a surprise appearance and attacked Slater resulting in the referee calling for the bell. Following the match, Dempsey attacked Miguel, Zachary Wentz, and the referee before being stopped by security and taken away.
• Jody Threat vs. Dani Luna went to a Time Limit Draw. Following the bell ringing, five more minutes were granted for overtime leading to Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards running out and attacked Threat and Luna.
• Road to Slammiversary TNA World Championship Qualifying match – Frankie Kazarian defeated Mike Santana via Countout. Near the end of the match, Johnny “Dango” Curtis came out and attacked Santana shoving him into the post while the referee was not looking. Santana ended up getting busted open and was unable to get back into the ring to beat the 10 count.
• Road to Slammiversary TNA World Championship Qualifying match – Joe Hendry defeated Jake Something
• Three-way match – “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated Jonathan Gresham and Kushida
• TNA Knockouts World Championship Open Challenge match – Jordynne Grace (c) defeated Izzi Dame
• Charlie Dempsey defeated Zachary Wentz. Near the end of the match, Myles Borne ran out and interfered to help Dempsey secure the victory. Following the match Dempsey and Borne attacked The Rascalz.
• Gisele Shaw defeated Tasha Steelz
• Eric Young & Josh Alexander defeated Campaign Singh & Mustafa Ali. Near the end of the match, Ali left the ring resulting in Singh being all alone to deal with Young and Alexander.
• Reby & Matt Hardy defeated The System (Alisha & Eddie Edwards)
