Ric Flair Issues Apology to Jim Herd, Eric Bishoff, & Vince Russo Over “Three-Headed Monster” Comments Blaming Them for WCW’s Demise

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Ric Flair recently blamed Jim Herd, Eric Bischoff, and Vince Russo for being the key people responsible in killing WCW in response to VICE TV’s new Who Killed WCW? docuseries.

Flair recently issued an apology on Twitter to Herd, Bischoff, and Russo over his comments blaming them for WCW’s demise and stated that he had unfairly judged them without knowing the inner workings and behind-the-scenes issues they had to deal with on the corporate end of the company.

Who Killed WCW? Ratings – June 11, 2024

Tuesday’s episode of Who Killed WCW? drew 117,000 viewers on VICE TV, down from last week’s series premiere’s 138,000 viewers.

It drew a 0.02 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down from last week’s series premiere’s 0.03 rating. It also drew a #114 key demographic ranking for that night.

TNA Wrestling announced that tickets sales for this Friday’s Against All Odds 2024 event in Chicago, Illinois recently reached sold out status.

As noted before, former wrestler Tammy Sytch was sentenced to over 17 years in prison this past November following her being convicted of the charges against her over a fatal car accident involving Sytch in March of 2022. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the estate of Julian Lasseter against Lynch is currently scheduled to go to a jury trial on October 7th based on recent court records.

The National Wrestling Alliance reportedly recently signed Natalia Markova and Bryan Idol to new multi-year contracts to keep them in the company for the foreseeable future, according to PWInsider.

Metroplex Wrestling recently announced that Athena will be making an appearance for the company at their The Purge event on June 15th in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Stardom recently announced that this year’s 5* Grand Prix tournament will be featuring four group blocks with seven competitors per block instead of the traditional two group blocks format.

This past Tuesday’s Grand Opening Wars 2024 event for Marigold featured former Sendai Girls talent Rea Marumori being officially revealed as the newest member of the company’s roster.
