WWE: Ricochet Reportedly Has No More Scheduled WWE Dates After Mon’s RAW Show, Chad Gable & Natalya Contracts Update, Kelani Jordan on NXT Women’s North American Title Win

As noted before, Ricochet is currently expected to be leaving WWE once his current contract expires this summer, which is believed to be somewhere in the first half of this summer.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that tonight’s WWE RAW show is currently scheduled to be Ricochet’s final appearance in WWE and he has no other dates scheduled afterwards.

Johnson reported that unless a new offer is given, Ricochet is not expected to return to WWE television prior to the end of his contract.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported in Sunday’s Daily Update that his sources stated that Ricochet had already made up his mind for a decision for the future of his wrestling career as of Sunday afternoon.


Chad Gable Expiring WWE Contract Status Update – Gable Reportedly Very Close or Already Has Signed New Deal

As noted before, Chad Gable’s contract with WWE is believed to have expired this past Friday but despite the situation, he is currently scheduled to compete for the Intercontinental Championship at WWE’s Clash at the Castle 2024 event on June 15th in Glasgow, Scotland.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Gable is currently believed to be extremely close or has come to terms with WWE for a new deal. Johnson reported that this is something his has yet to confirm from his other sources but those spoken to stated that everyone in WWE is working under the impression that he is staying.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources confirmed that most people are currently expecting Gable to stay in WWE. Sapp reported that Gable signing a new deal is also something he has also yet to confirm from his sources. Sapp reported that those within AEW also currently assuming that Gable will be staying in WWE.


Natalya WWE Contract Status Update

As noted before, Natalya’s contract with WWE is currently set to expire very soon.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Natalya and is believed to be getting close to signing a new deal with WWE. Johnson reported that it is currently not known nor confirmed if Natalya has already signed a new deal.

In regards to Natalya’s current expiring contract, Johnson reported that those spoken to stated that Natalya still has “some time left” in her current deal.


Kelani Jordan Comments on Becoming Inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion

As noted before, Sunday’s WWE NXT Battleground 2024 event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Kelani Jordan winning the NXT Women’s North American Championship to become its inaugural champion.

Following her match, WWE held a digital exclusive backstage interview with Jordan for her thoughts about her being the first ever champion for the NXT Women’s North American title.

“Honestly, I’m speechless. I’m still shaking because I know when I was grabbing the title, how much this match means to every single one of us girls who were in that match. I may be the one walking away with the title, but we all made history tonight. So honestly, I don’t really have words to express it. I’m in awe. I can’t believe it. I’m still shaking, I’m on cloud nine. But it feels good to be a champion.”
