House of Dragon Sponsored Match, IWGP World Title Eliminator Match, & More Set for Wed’s AEW Dynamite Show

AEW recently announced – new matches for the card of tonight’s AEW Dynamite show at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

The first new match announced was a House of the Dragon sponsored singles match of Swerve Strickland vs. Killswitch.

The second new match announced was an IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Eliminator match of Rocky Romero vs. Jon Moxley.

The third new match announced was a singles match of Mariah May vs. Saraya.

In regards to non-match announcements, it was announced that Wednesday’s show will also feature Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathway explaining their reason for their betryal of Willow Nightingale at AEW Double or Nothing 2024.

It was also announced that Chris Jericho will be debuting a new segment called “TV Time with The Learning Tree’s Chris Jericho.”

Finally, it was also announced that Mercedes Mone will be holding a TBS Championship Celebration segment to celebrate her recent TBS title victory at Double or Nothing 2024.
