Jeff Hardy AEW Contract Status Update
As noted before, Matt Hardy’s contract with AEW expired at the end of this past March and despite his recent return to TNA Wrestling, he still remains as a free agent. Jeff Hardy’s contract with AEW was originally set to expire at the same time as his brother Matt’s contract but had been extended by AEW officials to make up for time he was away from the company due to injuries and his suspension from a DUI arrest.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Jeff Hardy’s contract with AEW is currently set to expire “much sooner than expected.”
Hardy reportedly had told others at recent conventions that his current contract expires at some point this Spring.
Hardy has been out of action for AEW since this past February due to a broken nose injury.

Goldberg Comments on Being in Talks with Tony Khan to Potentially Join AEW & Rejected Idea Over AEW Product Being “Too Cheesy”
93.7 The Ticket radio show held a recent interview with WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg. One of the topics discussed included Goldberg’s thoughts about the past talks he had with AEW CEO Tony Khan over him potentially joining AEW and him changing his mind over AEW’s product being “too cheesy” for him.
“I’ve talked to him a number of times throughout the past. But this is where you’re gonna get the most blunt answer you’re gonna get from me. The product’s too cheesy. The product is too cheesy. It doesn’t deserve to have…I mean, whatever. You’re really gonna get me going. But if there was a comparable, viable option as a competitor that would allow me to still look myself in the mirror after I was a member of their roster, yeah, then it would be a consideration. But not a chance.”
