Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship – Judgement Day (Damian Priest & Finn Balor) (c) defeated #DIY (Tommasso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano) via Coup De Grace (pinfall)
- Following the match, Judgement Day’s Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh came out to celebrate. Priest called for R-Truth to come out since he wants to apologize over what he did to him at the Royal Rumble. R-Truth then came out but hesitated to get into the ring until Priest promised he would not be attacked. After some comedic banter by R-Truth over how he described each member in the ring as family members to him, Priest responded stating that he did not let him finish. Priest stated that while Judgement Day is a family, he is not part of it. Priest then stated that he likes Truth so it and does not want to be the one to do this, which led to Mysterio and McDonagh attacking Truth. This led to Miz running out to try to save Truth only for him to get quickly laid out instead.

Pat McAfee Replaces Wade Barrett for RAW’s Commentary Team

Monday’s RAW show featured the official announcement of Pat McAfee’s return to WWE commentary.

At the start of the show, McAfee made his surprise appearance and walked down to the commentary table. RAW lead commentator Michael Cole announced that McAfee and himself will be the new official commentary team for RAW going forwards.

CM Punk Torn Triceps Injury Update – Punk Confirms Right Triceps Injury & To Miss WrestleMania 40

As noted before, CM Punk suffered a torn triceps injury at this past Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2024 event in St. Petersburg, Florida.

During Monday’s RAW show, CM Punk came out with a sling over his right arm to the ring to provide an update on his torn triceps injury. Punk stated that he came real close to winning the Rumble and felt like he had it in the palm of his hand. Punk also stated that he is not mad at anybody and congratulated Cody Rhodes on his victory and hopes Rhodes goes to WrestleMania and finishes his story. After some more words, Punk stated that he has never believed in luck but he feels a bit unlucky and confirmed that he suffered a torn right triceps injury. Punk stated that as much as he tried and ask to tape it up and work through it to get to Elimination Chamber and the main event of WrestleMania, this is something that is just not in the cards for him. Punk also stated that he does not want anyone to feel sorry for him and brought up a friend of his named Chad Gilbert who is currently battling cancer and how Chad never feels down. Plunk stated that is a real fight while his injury is just a flesh wound. After some more motivational words, Punk stated while main eventing WrestleMania 40 is not in the cards, he is a fan of the Chicago Cubs and there is always next year for him.

Drew McIntyre’s music interrupted and he came out to the ring. A sad looking McIntyre stated that he has said some terrible things about Punk since his return to WWE and he meant all of it. McIntyre stated that punk was a terrible person in the past and a poison in the locker room. McIntyre also stated that after listening to Punk’s speech, that was something he could relate to since he also has gone through some changes recently. McIntyre also stated that he is not much of a spiritual person but he wants Punk to know that he prayed for him to get injured and it happened. McIntyre stated that when he got into the Rumble, he targeted Punk and violently assaulted him. After some more bashing, McIntyre stated that he will find a way into the World title match at WrestleMania and go to the main event and get to love Punk’s dream again.

An upset Punk responded back stating that his heart hurts more than his triceps and he will rehab it and will main event WrestleMania but first on his checklist is McIntyre. This led to a brawl breaking out and McIntyre quickly taking out Punk resulting in Sami Zayn running out to save Punk and fought off McIntyre.

Andrade Makes RAW Return & Officially Joins RAW Brand

As noted before, this past Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2024 event in St. Petersburg, Florida featured Andrade, former Andrade El Idolo in AEW, making his official return to WWE.

During Monday’s RAW show, Andrade and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce were seen backstage. Pearce watched on as Andrade signed a RAW contract officially making him the newest member of WWE’s RAW brand roster. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis walked in and stated that SmackDown had a great offer for Andrade which led to Pearce responding backing stating that they should have been quicker to sign him then. Andrade then told Aldis to say hello to Zelina Vega for him and walked away.

An upset looking Aldis then told Pearce that he lent Damage CTRL for tonight’s show but if this is how business is going to be done. Before Aldis could say anything else, his phone rang and stated that he got a call from NXT talent Bron Breakker and proceeded to leave.
