- Following the match, Gabe Kidd ran out and attacked Kingston. Kidd then grabbed a microphone and gave a promo bashing Kingston and issued a challenge for his NJPW Strong Openweight title.

- Following the match, Takagi gave a promo giving his nod of approval to Beretta over his effort and offered him a rematch under No DQ rules in the future. After Beretta left, Takagi continued his promo calling out for someone to be next for his title. After an awkward pause like the last time Takagi issued an open challenge for his belt, the lights went out and Guerrillas of Destiny themed played revealing Tama Tonga as the next challenger. Tonga then came out and issued his challenge, which Takagi accepted but stated that this should happen in Japan and at next year’s Wrestle Kingdom 18 event.
