Finals Set for 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament
Tuesday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night 1 show featured the Semifinals for this year’s NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
In the first Semifinals match, Kelani Jordan defeated Arianna Grace to advance to this year’s Finals.
In the second Semifinals match, Lola Vice defeated Karmen Petrovic to also advance to this Finals.
Jordan will face off against Vice in the Finals of this year’s NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, which takes place on Night 2 of NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 on October 31st.

Four New Matches Announced for Halloween Havoc 2023 Night 2, Updated Card
Tuesday’s NXT show also featured four new matches officially announced for NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night 2 show, which takes place on October 31st at WWE’s Performance Center.
The first new match announced is a TLS (Tables, Ladders, & Scares) match of Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo vs. The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed).
This match was setup following a promo segment between Diamond Mine, Shotzi, and Scarlett. As Shotzi and Scarlett were asking the crowd if they were ready for more of Halloween Havoc, Diamond Mine came out and interrupted. Julius stated that they wanted revenge for what Garza and Carrillo did to them last week and called them out for a tag team match at next week’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night 2 show. Shotzi responded that they should up the stakes and let the “Spin the Wheel, Make a Deal” wheel determine the stipulation for it, which was revealed to be a TLS match.

The second new match announced is a NXT North American Championship match of Nathan Frazer vs. Dominik Mysterio (c).
This match was setup following a video promo segment by Frazer who called out Mysterio over the issues they have had of late in NXT and claimed Mysterio is only the NXT North American Champion due to Judgement Day. Frazer then issued a challenge to Mysterio for his NXT North American title at next week’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night 2 show and insulted Mysterio again by saying that the match will happen if “Mami” lets him have his balls back again. Later in the show, NXT commentator Vic Joseph stated that this match was made official for next week’s show.

The third new match announced is a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match of Thea Hail & Jacy Jayne vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (c).
This match was setup following a backstage segment involving Chase U, Green, and Niven. While Jayne and Hail were celebrating with Andre Chase and Duke Hudson over their NXT Tag Team Championship victory earlier in the show, Green and Niven showed up and interrupted the celebrations. After some back-and-forth bickering and insults, Hail and Jayne stated that they were going to ask NXT head booker Shawn Michaels for a match against Green and Niven for their WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. Later in the show, NXT commentator Vic Joseph stated that this match was made official for next week’s show.

The fourth new match announced is a singles match of Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Helney.
This match was setup following a backstage interview segment involving Stratton. While Stratton was talking about how she did not care about who won this year’s NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament since she was more preoccupied with her issues with Lyra Valkria, Henley showed up dressed like Stratton and interrupted. Henley proceed to do a mocking impersonation of Stratton leading to Stratton getting upset and attacked Henley. Later in the show, NXT commentator Vic Joseph stated that this match was made official for next week’s show.

Chase U Wins NXT Tag Team Titles at NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night 1 Show
Tuesday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2023 Night 1 show also featured Chase U (Duke Hudson & Andre Chase) defeating Tony D’Angelo & Stacks to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.
The finish to this match involved D’Angelo & Stacks hitting a combination superplex and diving headbutt to Chase for the nearfall that was broken up by Hudson hitting a release German suplex to D’Angelo onto Stacks. After some more back-and-forth action, Jacy Jayne slid a crowbar into the ring while the ref was distracted for Chase to use, which he refused and gave it back to Jayne. This led to D’Angelo locking in a side head lock to Chase but in the process hit the ropes and knocked Jayne off the apron to break his hold. This led to Chase catching D’Angelo in a roll-up for the pinfall victory to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

Lyra Valkyria Defeats Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Title
Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Lyra Valkyria defeating Becky Lynch to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.
The finish to this match involved Lynch hitting a Uranage to Valkyria for a nearfall. Lynch then attempted to grab Valkryia only for Valkyria to counter with a series of kicks to Lynch’s head dazing her. Valkyria then attempted a spinning back heel kick only for Lynch to dodge the attack. Lynch then attempted a Uranage only for Valkyria to counter with an armdrag and roll-up for the pinfall victory to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.
Following the match, Lynch grabbed the NXT Women’s title and looked at Jade Cargill who was sitting in the VIP section before handing the title and hugging Valkria as Cargill looked on smiling and clapping.
