This match was initially setup during this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show involving The Mogul Embassy’s issues with The Elite and Swerve Strickland issuing a Trios match challenge with Brian Cage and Gates of Agony representing Mogul Embassy.

During tonight’s Collision show, The Young Bucks & Hangman Adam Page gave a backstage promo responding to Strickland’s match challenge.
