As noted before, The Judgement Day, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins were involved in a heated backstage argument incident at this past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Buffalo, New York. This incident revolved around issues related to their main event six-man tag team match on the show.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that one WWE source spoken to provided some new details stating that this incident was simply a “difference of opinion” that ended up being exacerbated by the last minute changes made to the original plans for the match.
These changes reportedly were done right as the ring entrances for the match were taking place and those backstage felt that the changes may have led to a domino effect in regards to things not being “as smooth as it would have been otherwise” in the ring.
This same person reportedly played down the significant of the backstage argument incident and stated that their belief was that this was not going to be an issue that would continue to cause strife.
This same person reportedly also stated that with WWE’s business currently being on fire, everyone has become “sensitive” to making sure that they do their part to keep WWE’s hot streak going. This person reportedly stated that this is going to lead to the butting of heads over the right cause of action for a segment or match, especially with so many hot acts at the same time.
