New Match Set for NXT Great American Bash 2023

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show featured a singles match between Mustafa Ali and Tyler Bate.

Following Ali’s victory, Ali gave a brief promo to the cameraman at ringside about his win and issued an official challenge to Wes Lee for his North American Championship at NXT’s Great American Bash 2023 event, which takes place on July 30th in Cedar Park, Texas.

Backstage: Finn Balor

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Finn Balor making a surprise appearance.

In a backstage segment during the show, Balor gave a promo responding to comments made by Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams about their issues with Judgement Day and invite to NXT. Balor stated that they are not sweating the Judgement Day but instead sweating all of his ring. Balor also stated that if you get in their business, then you get a rub in return but there won’t be any happy endings. Balor closed off his speech saying that he accepted their invite and will see them on next week’s show.

The Dyad Defeat The Creed Brothers in Loser Leaves NXT Match

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured a Loser Leaves NXT match between The Creed Brothers and The Dyad.

The finish to this match involved Julius Creed hitting a double suplex and a moonsault combo to the Dyad. Ava then tried to interfere leading to Ivy Nile getting involved and punching Ava. This led to a mystery masked person attacking Julius while the ref was distracted allowing the Dyad to hit a double team finisher for the pinfall victory.

As a result of the match stipulation, The Creed Brothers now have to leave NXT.
