Liv Morgan & Michin Comments on Being Hopeful for All-Women’s Weekly WWE Show in the Future
Haus of Wrestling recently held an interview with Liv Morgan and Michin. One of the topics discussed included Morgan and Michin’s thoughts about an all-women’s weekly WWE television show being a big milestone left for WWE’s Women’s Revolution.
Liv Morgan – “It is a good question because it is very equal playing fields right now. There’s nothing that the men have done that we have not done, and so I just hope that we just keep getting more opportunity more time. Maybe an all-female show, who knows?”
Michin – “Like a weekly show.”
Morgan – “Yeah, a weekly all-females show.We have the talent and the roster to do it. But I think just think at this time, we just appreciate being equal and not less than. We are equal to, you know, the men in in our company, which, at one point, they were the focal, and we were the accessory, and now to be seen on the same playing field as them, I think we all just appreciate that and are enjoying that and looking to show the company that they made the right decision.”
Carmelo Hayes Comments on Working with Seth Rollins & Finn Balor in WWE
A recent episode of the WWE The Bump show featured Carmelo Hayes as a guest. One of the topics discussed included Hayes’ thoughts on his recent work and interactions with Seth Rollins and Finn Balor.
“It just feels like something that came out of nowhere. I expected to definitely Seth down the road. But because it’s happening now with me in NXT, I definitely expected, down the road, I was gonna see him at some point, work my way up the ranks. But to be able to associate myself with the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins so soon has been an honor and a privilege. It’s been an honor more than anything to be able to work with Seth.”
Hayes also gave his thoughts on Rollins’ praise of him during their recent on-screen interactions.
“It was a cool co-sign, man. I’ve said in so many interviews how much I look up to a guy like Seth, and how I aspire to be a champion like Seth and to be a performer like Seth. He’s the workhorse of today’s generation, and to be in the same conversation as him, my name in the same conversation, it’s a huge upside for me and for my career. I appreciate Seth so much and everything that he’s done for us.”
Hayes also gave his thoughts about his recent match with Balor at this past Monday’s WWE RAW show.
“He might be one of the greatest NXT Champions of all time, and then Seth being the very first, so just the fact that I got to get in the ring, again, it’s wild because I assumed it was gonna be a lot further down the road that I was gonna be able to mix it up with these guys. So it really was, like you said earlier about getting thrown in the deep end, and to be in there with Finn Balor, incredible performer with so many accolades. People are talking about the loss and this and that, but at the end of the day, it’s Finn Balor. He’s got a World Heavyweight Championship shot in less than a week. I gave my best efforts, and give me a couple more years, give me a couple more months, and let’s crack at it again and we’ll see, maybe the outcome will be different. But as of right now, it was Finn Balor‘s night. It wasn’t my night, but I picked up the win last night, and everything is even.”

WWE News & Notes
WWE filed a trademark for “Judgement Day” on June 22nd for merchandise-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Indie wrestler Amber Nova reportedly was in attendance backstage at a recent WWE SmackDown show, according to Fightful Select.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the reason why WWE has been recently advertising matches up to three weeks ahead of time for SmackDown shows was due to WWE officials trying to “Vince proof” some of their storyline plans and matches for shows. Those spoken to reportedly stated that this plan revolves around Vince McMahon’s mentality of making good on delivering advertised matches and the idea of him being less incline to make major changes to plans if matches are announced well ahead of time.
Sami Zayn and Pro Wrestling Tees recently partnered together for a planned charity auction involving a special Zayn “My Dawg” shirt featuring autographs from Zayn and The Bloodline. This auction would help raise funds for Zayn’s Sami For Syria charity. In a recent email sent by PWT, it was announced that this upcoming auction raffle has been cancelled and they have refunded everyone who purchased raffle tickets due to the company recently received a “cease and desist” legal notice over the shirt.
Warner Bros Discovery recently released a new trailer for their upcoming Dune Part Two film, which features Dave Bautista, known as Batista in WWE, among the film’s cast.
In a recent interview with Cool Kicks, Batista confirmed that he was originally planned to be among those inducted into this year’s WWE’s Hall of Fame but those plans were dropped due to his filming commitments in South Africa at the time. Batista stated “No. I was in South Africa. I was supposed to go into the Hall Of Fame, but I was on this film I was committed to. I couldn’t get out of it.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
In a recent interview with the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, LA Knight stated that he believes that he was on his way to being released from WWE prior to him being given the Max Dupri character. Knight stated “Well let me just go ahead and say this, I’m pretty sure I was fired and it just hadn’t officially happened yet. But without getting into too many details, some things happened, I don’t remember what it was, but some things happened and I had gotten a FaceTime, ‘Hey, we wanna keep you around, we wanna do this, that, whatever’, somehow I had been saved from being thrown off the cliff, at least this is my interpretation of it. Maybe I’m incorrect, I don’t know. Eventually, things just kind of worked out and I think maybe again, maybe some of the testament of why things are working the way they are and why people are reacting the way are is because one of these [characters] is not me and I didn’t know who it was and one of these was very much me and I didn’t have to think about LA Knight.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
