Tommaso Ciampa Makes Surprise WWE Return at RAW
Monday’s WWE RAW show in Cleveland, Ohio featured the surprise return of Tommaso Ciampa.
During a promo segment by The Miz on the show, The Miz mocked Seth Rollins for not being able to deliver on his promise to hold an Open Challenge for his World Heavyweight Championship on the show after getting attacked by Finn Balor. Miz stated that he was going to be the one to have accepted the open challenge and become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Miz then stated that he is worshiped as a god in the hellhole known as Cleveland and was going to give the people of Cleveland the opportunity to see one of their finest become a champion.
Miz then issued an Open Challenge to anyone in Cleveland which led to Ciampa making his surprise return and got in the ring and punched Miz to accept his offer for a match.

Monday’s WWE RAW show in Cleveland also featured Logan Paul officially announcing that he will be an official competitor for this year’s Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match at this July’s Money in the Bank 2023 event in London, England.
In a promo segment during the show, Logan Paul ridiculed the city of Cleveland and those living in it. Paul also went on a tangent about how everyone who is from Cleveland just loses like the Cleveland Browns, his brother Jake Paul losing a boxing match, his own loss to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39, and The Miz earlier in the show. Paul then stated that this would chance since he officially entered the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match after a talk with WWE officials.

Qualifies for Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Monday’s RAW show in Cleveland also featured Trish Stratus defeating Raquel Rodriguez to qualify for the final spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match.
The finish to this match involved Zoey Stark grabbing and sweeping Rodriguez’s leg on the apron while the ref was distracted. This led to Stratus sending Rodriguez into the ring post and going for a nearfall. Becky Lynch then ran out and attacked Stark from behind and tossed her into the barricade. Stratus went to the outside to try to break up Lynch’s attack onto to also be sent into the barricade by Lynch. This resulted in the ref calling for the disqualification to give Stratus the win to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match while Rodriguez looked on in fury over Lynch costing her the match.
