Alicia Fox Reveals WWE Contract Expired & Departure from Company
Alicia Fox, real name Victoria Crawford, recently revealed that her contract with WWE recently expired and she had departed from the company.
Fox revealed that she had left WWE in a recent update to her bio on Instagram that stated “FKA ‘Alicia’ — @wwe (2006-2023).” Fox also stated in a recent Instagram Stories posting that she is currently available for bookings.
Prior to her departure, Fox had been with WWE since July of 2006, first as an active talent from 2006 to 2019 and later as a part-timer from July of 2021 to January of 2022.
Sol Ruca Injury Status Update
As noted before, NXT talent Sol Ruca has been out of action for WWE since this past April due to a torn ACL injury.
Ruca recently provided an update on Instagram confirming that the reports of her suffering an ACL injury are true and that she will be undergoing surgery to repair her knee.
Sonya Deville Stalker Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison
As noted before, Sonya Deville was the victim of an attempted kidnapping incident at her home in Lutz, Florida in August of 2020. The suspect, Phillip A. Thomas, was arrested shortly afterwards and admitted to his plans to kidnap Deville.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Thomas pleaded guilty to the charges against him on April 17th based on recent court records.
Judge Barbara Twine-Thomas reportedly sentenced Thomas to 15 years in prison, an additional 15 years of probation that will take effect after his release, and 50 hours of community service. Thomas reportedly was given credit for 975 days spent in jail as part of the terms of his sentencing.
Thomas was also issued a court recommended curfew of 9PM to 7AM and was ordered to have no direct or indirect contact with Deville and members of Deville’s family. Thomas was also ordered to have no direct or indirect contact with Deville and her family through the use of social media or by a third party as well.
