Impact Wrestling & WrestleCon Issue Statements Over Gisele Shaw & Rick Steiner Incident

As noted before, Impact Wrestling talent Gisele Shaw revealed that she was involved in a transphobic incident with WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner at an autograph signing convention for WrestleCon this past Friday in Los Angeles, California.

Impact Wrestling and WrestleCon recently issued official statements regarding Steiner’s transphobic comments and incident towards Shaw.

In regards to Impact, the company stated that they stand in full support of Shaw and the LGBTQ+ community. The company also praised everyone for their support of Shaw and both WrestleCon staff and Impact roster and staff who handled the situation with their utmost professionalism.

In regards to WrestleCon, the company stated that they regret what had taken place at their event and apologized to Shaw over the issue.
