Jay Briscoe’s Passing Update – Briscoe’s Daughters Health Update
As noted before, Jay Briscoe, real name Jamin Pugh, passed away this past January following a car accident in Delaware, which claimed the life of Pugh and the driver of the second car and also left Pugh’s two daughters hospitalized in critical condition.
Briscoe’s widow Ashley Pugh recently announced on Facebook that her daughter Grace was discharged from the hospital this past Saturday. Pugh’s other daughter Jayleigh was discharged earlier this month.
Friend of the Pugh family Josh Wharton recently provided an additional update on Facebook stating that Grace will be going to outpatient rehab five days a week going forward, has regained normal feeling in her legs but they still hope for her to eventually regain full movement below her knee, and is able to do some assisted walking.

The Hex Comment on Their Current Career Goals in Impact
The Hex, Marti Belle and Allysin Kay, made their surprise return to Impact Wrestling earlier this month.
A recent episode of the Paltrocast with Darren Paltrowitz podcast had The Hex as the guests. One of the topics discussed included The Hex’s thoughts on if winning the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship is their main goal for their recent return to Impact.
Belle – “One of them, yes.
Kay – “Of course. We have many goals, and we’re not gonna stop with the Knockouts Tag Titles, but yes, that is where we’re going to start [at No Surrender]. I think you can probably imagine what some of our goals are. The Hex Express has left the station, and we’re not stopping anytime soon.”
Belle also gave her praise to Impact’s locker room and them being really happy to be joining it.
“We like a lot of people. It’s a great locker room. We’re really happy to be coming back in such a great locker room. But just because we like somebody doesn’t mean that we’re not gonna go after their titles or anything. Everybody knows how much I love Mickie James, but that does not mean that Mickie’s Knockouts Title is safe.”
