Rumor Killers on Several WWE Plans for Money in the Bank 2023
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that the recent rumors of WWE officials currently planning to no longer hold Money in the Bank as its own themed pay-per-view event are not true. This rumor had stated that WWE officials were planning on removing the event and return to holding Money in the Bank matches at WrestleMania events starting next year.
It was also reported that the recent rumors of WWE officials currently planning for LA Knight to win next year’s Men’s Money in the Bank match are also not true. One source stated “I like LA Knight, but we don’t even have definitive plans across the board for months down the line, much less next year’s Money in the Bank. If we wanted it on him so bad, it wouldn’t have been hard to take Theory’s to put on him. I’ve never heard him discussed in the same conversation as Money in the Bank. Not that it couldn’t happen, because he’s a great performer, but it’s not been discussed.”
Arianna Grace Injury Status Update
As noted before, NXT brand talent Arianna Grace has been out of action for WWE since this past October due to a currently unknown injury.
A recent episode of The A2theK Wrestling Show podcast had Grace’s father Santino Marella as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Marella providing an update on the status of his daughter’s rehab from injury.
“It’s going, everyone seems to be impressed with her ability to heal. And uh she’s keeping positive. And yeah, she’s on track. It was a setback, but everything happens for a reason you know? I think with this big wave of everybody that just got brought back, now that Triple H is back? You know, there was going to be nothing anyway for the time being, because he had to kind of go back and continue where he left off. So by the time she comes back and she’s ready to go, I think this wave of new talent, or old talent that’s now a new talent again, once the dust settles there I think it’d be a good time. The timing is going to line up properly, and I think it’ll be her time to shine.”
