Sasha Banks WWE Contract Status Update
As noted before, Sasha Banks and Naomi have been absent from WWE since this past May due to their current suspensions over a walk out incident during a WWE RAW show in Norfolk, Virginia.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that Banks still remains under contract with WWE. Those same sources reportedly also stated that it is currently not known when Banks might make her potential return due to several hang-ups or issues in the current negotiations between the two sides for a new contract.
Chelsea Green Reportedly Expected to be Returning to WWE
As noted before, Impact Wrestling talent Chelsea Green had been working without a contract for the company this past Summer.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that WWE officials currently have significant interest in bringing Green back to the company.
Johnson reported that Impact had filmed an exit vignette for Green at their most recent set of Impact television tapings and many people within the company currently believe she is heading back soon to WWE. This recent set of tapings reportedly also featured Green competing against Mickie James in a “Loser Leaves Town” match, likely as Impact’s way of writing her out of Impact television.
Those spoken to stated that Green likely would have not given up her regular bookings for Impact unless she is returning to WWE.
