WWE NXT Notes: Next Week’s Card, InDex Reunion, Matches Announced for Worlds Collide 2022

Current Card for August 30th WWE NXT Show

Prior to the start of tonight’s NXT show’s Lights Out main event match, WWE announced the current card for next week’s episode of NXT 2.0.

Current card for Aug. 30th episode of NXT:

  • Mixed Six-Person Tag Team match – Lash Legend & Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) vs. Fallon Henley, Josh Briggs, & Brooks Jensen
  • Six-Man Tag Team match – Diamond Mine (Damon Kemp & Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutis Creed)) vs. Gallus (Joe & Mark Coffey & Wolfgang)
  • Apollo Crews vs. Grayson Waller

Dexter Lumis Surprise NXT Return

Tuesday’s NXT show also featured Dexter Lumis making his surprise return to the NXT brand.

Following Indi Hartwell’s loss to Blair Daveport, Hartwell gave a post-match promo claiming that she has hit rock bottom both in her life and NXT career. At the end of her promo, Dexter Lumis made a surprise appearance leading to him and Hartwell having an emotional hug and InDex reunion moment in the ring.

Lumis then carried Hartwell to the back and revealed that he had to leave her again due to WWE officials had called the police on him for breaking into their Performance Center. Before Lumis left, he handed over a love letter to Hartwell.


Current Card for NXT Worlds Collide 2022

During tonight’s NXT show, WWE officially announced two new matches for the card of their upcoming NXT Worlds Collide 2022 event, which takes place on September 4th at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Current card for NXT Worlds Collide 2022:

  • NXT UK Championship and NXT Championship Unification match – Tyler Bate (NXT UK) vs. Bron Breakker (NXT)
  • NXT UK Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s Championship Unification match – Blair Davenport vs. Meiko Satomura (NXT UK) vs. Mandy Rose (NXT)
