In-Ring: CM Punk, MJF
Dynamite opens with CM Punk sitting in the ring with a box. Punk recites his “I’m better than you” line from years ago and says that promo set the foundation of his career and he is proud of that career. He says he’s proud that he helped inspire the next generation of wrestlers and says some of those guys are in the locker room right now. He says that MJF tries to walk and talk like him but he will never think like Punk.
Punk says that when MJF beat him in Chicago you would think that would make him furious but the truth is he’s proud of MJF. He says that MJF looks at himself like Roddy Piper in Portland but in reality he’s just “shitty little Max from shitty little Long Island.” He says MJF’s foundation of his career is the ring he uses to beat others and the irony is that it’s a ring he won from help from others.
Punk thanks Moxley for the assist last week and says that now he gets to pick the time, date, place and stipulation for his rematch. Punk says it will take place at AEW Revolution and wonders about the stipulation. He mentions a cage but says he’s pretty sure Wardlow could still climb inside of a cage and says he’s been thinking about all the different kinds of matches he’s had. Punk says he’s won more cage matches than he’s lost but he started thinking about the toughest matches of his career, the ones that he lost because those matches are the one that teach lessons.
Punk says that since MJF wants to be tethered to Roddy Piper so badly, he will be tethered to Punk. He pulls out a chain from the match and says, “Piper had his… MJF will you be my (Greg) Valentine?” as he holds up the chain. Punk says no one wants to be in a Dog Collar Match and says he wants MJF to come out here so he can tell him one last thing.
Punk pulls out that infamous picture of MJF meeting Punk as a kid and says that was a special moment for MJF but for him it was just Friday. He says Revolution will be the worst day of MJF’s career but it’ll just be a Sunday to Punk. He says that the canvas at Revolution won’t be stained with MJF’s “shitty spray tan,” it’ll be stained with his blood.
MJF gets pissed off and starts to stay something but just drops the microphone and leaves.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone says that Revolution will include a three-way for the Tag Titles, with two tag team battle Royals over the next two weeks to determine Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus’s opponents. Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Christian Cage are with Schiavone. Christian says that the tag team division is going to change over the new few weeks, but Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus will remain champs.
Bryan Danielson vs. Lee Moriarty
Danielson offers a handshake but when Moriarty reaches to shake his hand, Danielson pulls it away. Some beautiful mat wrestling from both guys to start off but Danielson shuts Moriarty down every time he tried to gain an advantage. Danielson also keeps trying to get in Moriarty’s head with things like slapping the piss out of him. He puts Moriarty in a Mexican Surfboard and bridges it into a Dragon Sleeper.
Moriarty rakes Danielson’s eyes and goes for the Border City Stretch but Danielson gets to the ropes and slaps the hell out of Moriarty again. Moriarty takes Danielson down and hits a Flying Knee to the arm of Danielson and then goes to attack the arm further. He puts Dragon in a Straight Jacket Choke but Danielson reverses it until Lee backs him into the corner and hits a series of stirkes.
Danielson backflips over Moriarty but as he hits the ropes he runs right into an Uppercut from Moriarty. Danielson hangs Lee up in the ropes, though, and lays into him with round kicks. He drags Moriarty halfway into the ring and nails him with a big knee to the face.
An amazing sequence sees the two counter submissions on each other and while they’re still hung up with each other just start slapping the hell out of one another. Eventually, Danielson is able to roll Moriarty up and lock him in the LaBell Lock but Moriarty quickly gets to the ropes.
Danielson taunts Moriarty by booting him in the head but it just pisses him off and Danielson eats a Backdrop Driver! Moriarty and Danielson exchange strikes but Moriarty surprises Dragon with a Backslide for two. He goes for a Jackknife but Danielson counters into a Backslide. Moriarty lands on his feet and walks into a nasty slap. Moriarty gets fired up and they start exchange elbows!
Danielson hits a Roaring Elbow followed by a Roundhouse attempt but Moriarty catches his foot and backflips him. Danielson lands on his feet and goes for a Bear Hug but Moriarty counters into a Belly-to-Belly Suplex for two. Moriarty rains down elbows and strikes on Danielson and locks in the Border City Stretch.
Dragon manages to roll Moriarty over into a nearfall and then lifts him up into a Cradle Suplex! Danielson hits the Flying Knee! He traps Moriarty’s arms and stomps the hell out of him before locking in a Triangle Choke and Moriarty is out.
Winner: Danielson via KO (Triangle Choke)
In-Ring: Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley
Danielson says he came out here to teach Moriarty a thing or two about violence and then asks the fans if he passed. Danielson says he asked Jon Moxley to team with him to help create a whole new AEW to teach young wrestlers like Lee Moriarty about violence and he wants an answer now.
Moxley comes out and says a decade ago he was a lot like Moriarty and a lot of the other young wrestlers in the AEW locker room. He says he was young, angry and poor and he had nothing to lose. He says he took a shot at taking down the great Bryan Danielson at an Indy show in Ohio. Moxley recalls the match and how Danielson was late to the show because of his flight being late. He says he stood in the ring with the guy they called “The Best Wrestling in the World” and he says he went balls out in that match only to come out short.
Moxley says getting a taste of the best just made him meaner, angrier and made him want it more. He says he got more shots at Danielson over the years but he never was able to beat him. Moxley says that everyone else was intimidated when Danielson showed up but he was excited he would get a chance to slay the one dragon he never was able to do. Moxley says now Danielson wants to join forces with him instead of fighting.
Moxley says he’s listened to Dragon and he got to thinking about how awesome it would be and all the skulls they could cave in together. He says it would be a “Dynasty of unmitigated pure wrestling violence” and says that even more than that they could create something even better by giving up to the young guys they could bring along with them. Moxley says no matter how he hard he tried he couldn’t think of a single good reason to say no causing a “YES” chant.
Moxley then said he started to wander if the only reason that Danielson wants to stand by him is because he just doesn’t want to find himself standing across from Moxley again. Moxley says that Danielson knows that he would do to him what he’s done to every single person put in front of him in the last three years. Moxley says if that is the case then he’s already beaten Danielson and points to his mind. He asks Danielson if the truth is he wants to team because of what they could create or because Dragon doesn’t want to get destroyed.
Moxley says he isn’t saying yes but he’s also not saying no. He says it is up to Danielson because he doesn’t stand side by side with anyone until he bleeds with them first.

She says she’ll have the best crew in AEW with the best sensei as John Kreese from Cobra Kai walks up. He’s appeared by Baker in the past. Martinez says she knows what to do and leaves. Baker asks what she should do if Martinez loses. “Finish her, no mercy,” Kreese says.
In-Ring: Hangman Page, Adam Cole
Hangman Page comes out for an interview with Schiavone but before he can say anything else Adam Cole interrupts him. Cole applauds Page for the battles he’s had with Omega, Danielson and Archer. He says the Texas Death Match was one of the craziest he’s ever seen and screams at Schiavone to get the hell out of his ring.
Cole says that Page earned the right to call himself the World Champion. Cole says he has been a World Champion anywhere he’s been and it’s a shame that Page’s reign will have to come to an end pretty soon. Page wonders what it was like for Cole to leave and watch as all his friends built a wrestling empire without him and asks if it’s weird now looking at his ROH roommate and seeing the World Title that Cole will never hold.
Cole taunts Page for how he abandons friends and asks what kind of friend he really is. Page says he isn’t perfect but Cole doesn’t exactly have the best record of friendship. Page says he’s made some mistakes and the more Cole talks he realizes getting in the ring with Page might be one of his biggest mistakes.
Cole says that Page has become an amazing wrestler but now Cole is in AEW and every time they’ve been in the same promotion together Page has just been known as the “other Adam.” Page starts to get in Cole’s face but Cole says he has nothing but love and respect for Page and he wouldn’t want to share the ring with anyone more than Page. He says that when they face each other for the title it will be man-to-man and when that day comes may the best man win. He offers a handshake and Page accepts.
As Cole leaves, reDRagon runs out and attacks Page from behind. Security guards run out but it doesn’t stop Cole and reDRagon until Dark Order runs out and chases them off. Pres10 Vance gets pissed and starts beating the shit out of the security guards.
