AEW Announces Date for Next Battle of the Belts Special
AEW announced that their next Battle of the Belts special, Battle of the Belts II, will be taking place on April 15th in Garland, Texas.
It was also announced that this special will be part of an upcoming set of tapings which will include AEW Rampage.
Tickets for AEW’s Battle of the Belts II was announced to officially go on sale starting on February 25th.

Samoa Joe Comments on His Induction into ROH’s Hall of Fame
As noted before, Ring of Honor recently announced that Samoa Joe will be among the inductees of their inaugural Hall of Fame class.
Joe recently reflected on Twitter about being honored to be inducted into ROH’s Hall of Fame.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes
Former WCW and WWE referee Mickie Henson passed away on Monday at the age of 59. Henson’s passing was first announced by The Post and Courier’s Mike Monneyham. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Henson’s cause of death was due to pneumonia caused by COVID-19. Henson’s career in wrestling spanned from 1987 to 2009 and included notable stints in WCW from 1992 to 2001 and in WWE from 1992 to 1993 and 2005 to 2009.
MCW Pro Wrestling announced that Hit Row (Shane “Swerve” Strickland, B-Fab, AJ Francis, & Ashante “Thee” Adonis) will be making an appearance for the company at their Spring Fever event on March 19th in Parkville, Maryland. This will be the first time that the group will reunite together since their releases from WWE this past November.
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that they pulled Hiroyoshi Tenzan from the card of their New Years Golden Series event earlier today in Tokyo, Japan due to him recently suffering a right knee injury.
NJPW recently announced a new match for the card of their New Years Golden Series event on February 20th in Hokkaido, Japan:
