— The press release below confirmed TNA moving to Challenge TV in Great Britain: Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling has announced a new television deal with Sky channel Challenge TV to broadcast TNA programming on Freeview from February. Challenge TV – which is also available on the Sky and Virgin Media platforms – will screen flagship show “TNA iMPACT”, “TNA Xplosion” and all the monthly TNA pay-per-view events including “Lockdown” and “Bound For Glory”. Wrestling fans can watch stars including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson every week on Challenge, which can be found on Freeview Channel 46 from February 1, Sky Channel 125 and Virgin Media Channel 139. TNA show times on Challenge TV in the UK and Ireland (Sky 125, Freeview 46, Virgin 139): TNA iMPACT airs EVERY Tuesday night at 10pm from February 8, followed by TNA Xplosion at midnight. TNA’s monthly PPV events will be broadcast for free on Wednesdays, starting with Against All Odds on February 16. Catch up episodes of iMPACT! and Xplosion go out every day from Thursday February 3 to Monday February 7 from midnight. Fans can also watch TNA’s most recent PPV event, Genesis, on Wednesday February 9 at 10pm. TNA President Dixie Carter said: “We are delighted to have signed this deal giving all our incredible fans in the UK exactly what they’ve been asking for – professional wrestling back on free television.” Barbara Gibbon, Challenge’s Head of Channel, added: “We’re thrilled to have agreed a deal to make Challenge the new home of TNA Wrestling in the UK where it has a huge fan base.”

— Abyss is not expected to return to TNA until the February 24th TNA iMPACT taping in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He’s off TV right now to sell the ‘injuries’ he suffered at the hands of the Crimson/Janice ‘stabbing’.

— Numerous UK wrestlers received tryouts with TNA during the company’s most recent tour. TNA was said to have been very impressed with a guy by the name of Mark Hawkins. If anyone is to be hired, it’ll be him according to backstage sources.
