Kyle O’Reilly Health and NXT Status Update
Despite being previously advertised for this week’s episode of NXT, NXT announcers stated during the show that Kyle O’Reilly was unable to appear due to him suffering an injury.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that the real reason for O’Reilly’s absence on NXT television is due to him being diabetic and a higher risk for the coronavirus.
Fightful’s Jeremy Lambert reported that O’Reilly’s has not wrestled since the March 11th episode of NXT, which was the last television episode taped by WWE that featured a live audience. It is currently not known if O’Reilly will be making any live appearances for NXT at the Performance Center during the on-going coronavirus pandemic.
