Donald Trump announced at a press conference today that he would put together a council of business “leaders” who would help advise him on when and how to re-open the US economy.
Later in the day, the White House released a list of what they called “Great American Economic Revival Industry Groups,” made up of mostly the richest people in the US, from various industries like banking, weapons manufacturing, oil, health insurance companies, tech, sports and more.
One of the names in the sports group is Vince McMahon, who is among several major sports commissioners and owners, including UFC president Dana White. Earlier this month, Trump met with 12 commissioners from major sports leagues to discuss bringing sports back.
