Dynamite opens up with Tony Schiavone interviewing Adam Page earlier. The Bucks are also standing by as Page asked them to be there. Page taunts them about asking one of them to team with him tonight but then says he wouldn’t ask either of them to team with him and then says his partner tonight will be a mystery and walks away.


Ortiz vs. Cody

Cody takes Ortiz down at the bell but Ortiz comes back with a headbutt. Cody responds with a dropkick sending Ortiz reeling into the corner. Cody attempts to whip Ortiz in the opposite corner but Ortiz reverses it and charges right into a Snap Powerslam for a one-count.

Jake Roberts is shown arriving in the crowd with Lance Archer. The distraction of Roberts and Archer allows Ortiz to clothesline Rhodes to the outside. There, Ortiz slams Cody into the barricade but Cody reverses a second toss attempt to throw Ortiz into the ring steps.

Back in the ring, Cody hits a Rack Breaker for a nearfall and then puts Ortiz in a Half Crab. Roberts and Archer are shown watching in the crowd. Ortiz breaks the hold and hits a series of European Uppercuts but Cody comes back with an Uppercut of his own.

Santana grabs Cody’s leg as Ortiz distracted the referee and then Ortiz kicks Cody’s legs out from under him. Ortiz chokes Cody in the ropes and then hits a Legbreaker over his own shoulder on Cody. Ortiz hits a Snap Suplex for a nearfall.

Ortiz tosses Cody to the floor and then distracts the referee as Santana hits Cody in the leg with his slapjack. Ortiz tosses Cody back in the ring and hits a Big Splash for a nearfall. Ortiz puts Cody in a modified Figure Four. Cody is able to break the hold by punching Ortiz.

Ortiz puts the boots to Cody in the corner but Cody comes back with a Flying Forearm and then a Release Vertical Suplex. Cody mounts Ortiz in the corner and reigns down right hands. Cody goes to the top but Ortiz crotches Cody and climbs up with him.

Cody shoves Ortiz off the top but Santana quickly gets back up and hits a Superplex for a nearfall. Santana corners Arn on the outside but Cody hits a Tope Suicida onto Santana on the outside. Ortiz then goes for one of his own but Cody catches him in midair and Suplexes him onto the ramp!

Lance Archer teases jumping the rail but Roberts stops him. Back in the ring, Ortiz dropkicks Cody’s knee and hits a Fisherman’s Suplex for a nearfall. Cody attempts the Disaster Kick but Ortiz blocks it and rolls Cody up. Cody counters the rollup and goes for a Cross Rhodes.

Ortiz kicks Cody in the head and then goes to the outside but Cody stops him and hits a Dragon Screw Legwhip on Ortiz with his leg caught in the ropes. Cody hangs his leg up in the ropes again and stomps on it before locking in a Figure Four of his own.

Ortiz rolls over to reverse the hold but Cody rolls back over and Ortiz taps!

Winner: Cody via submission (Figure Four)

Santana attacks Cody with the slapjack but Arn gets in the ring and gets between he and Cody. Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega hit the ring and PNP retreat.

Backstage: Chris Jericho, Inner Circle, Nick Jackson

Jericho appears on the big screen with Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager. He says they may have gotten the upper hand tonight but he reminds them that the Inner Circle is putting all of AEW on notice and at Blood & Guts they will beat the hell out of The Elite.

Jericho says that The Elite may be wondering where Nick Jackson is and he says they ran into him in the hallway and he probably has a headache. Jackson is shown laid out on the floor and trapped under a roll door.

Nick Jackson is shown being taken away in an ambulance during the break.


Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida vs. Nyla Rose & Bea Priestley

This is Priestley’s 2020 debut in AEW. Her last AEW appearance was a loss to Statlander on “Dark” in December.

Priestley and Rose attack Statlander and Shida at the bell. Priestley tosses Statlander to the floor while Rose beats Shida down in a corner. Shida tries to fight back but eats a Shoulder Block from Rose. Shida nips up to her feet and shoves Rose. Rose then destroys her with a clothesline.

Rose hits a Scoop Slam followed by a Leg Drop for a nearfall. Priestley tags in and the heels beat Shida down in their corner. Priestley hits a Snapmare Takeover and then a big round kick to her back. Priestley chokes Shida in the ropes and then hits a Running Face Wash for a nearfall.

Priestley tags Rose and she goes for a Press Slam but Shida escapes only to eat a foot to the back from Priestley. Rose hits a Vertical Suplex for a nearfall. Rose misses a clothesline and then eats a Leaping Knee from Shida as we go to a break.

During the break, Priestley locked Statlander in a Hanging Octopus but Statlander managed to counter by slamming her forearm into Priestley’s back repeatedly to break the hold. Priestley botched an attempt to jump to the top and then Statlander pulls her off and hits a Backbreaker.

Statlander hangs Priestley up in the ropes and tags Shida in. Shida Suplexes Statlander onto Priestley! Shida gets a nearfall and then goes for a Brainbuster, but Priestley blocks it and hits a Front Kick. Priestley hits a Roundhouse Kick but then runs into an Enziguri from Shida!

Priestley gets back to her feet and hits a German Suplex but Shida gets back up and hits a Shining Wizard! Rose tags in and lays Statlander out before going back to work on Shida. Rose hangs Shida up on the top rope and then goes for the Guillotine Knee Drop!

Statlander pulls Shida to safety and then Shida hits a Missile Dropkick off the top followed by a Double Superkick from Shida and Statlander for a nearfall. Shida goes for a Brainbuster on Rose but Rose blocks it only to eat an Enziguri followed by a Michinoku Driver!

1…2…NO Priestley breaks it up. Statlander tosses Priestley to the floor and then eats a Lariat from Rose. Rose grabs Shida as Priestley climbs to the top. Rose goes for the Beast Bomb but Shida counters with a Hurricanrana and then a Superplex on Priestley off the top!

Rose destroys Shida with a Spear and then a Beast Bomb for the pin!

Winners: Rose & Priestley via pinfall (Beast Bomb)

Priestley attacks Rose after the match and holds up the AEW Title before retreating.


Video: Christopher Daniels

In a vignette, Chris Daniels mocks the Dark Order’s recruitment videos. He says that the Dark Order once had momentum in AEW until they stepped foot in the ring with SCU. He suggests the only people that gain from the Dark Order’s “help” are Stu Grayson and Evil Uno. He suggests the “Exalted One” is just a smoke screen and he isn’t even real. Daniels then challenges Uno and Grayson to singles matches and says it will prove there is no Exalted One when he defeats them both and no one comes to their rescue.


MJF, The Butcher & The Blade vs. Jurassic Express

MJF is wearing his “I pinned Cody” shirt. He tosses Marko Stunt to the side and Luchasaurus tags himself in as MJF was taunting the crowd. He backs into Lucha and realizes the bigger dinosaur is behind him and retreats her.

Butcher and Blade take out Lucha’s knees and the heels beat on him in the corner. They target Lucha’s leg and make quick tags working on the leg. Blade hits a Running Dropkick to Lucha’s knee that is still hung up in the ropes.

Every time Lucha tries to fight back the heels take his leg out. MJF hits a Dragon Screw Legwhip for a nearfall and then just blatantly stomps on the leg. Blade comes in and slams the leg into the mat before tagging Butcher in and holding the leg so that Butcher can splash it.

The heels use the entire commercial break to continue working on Lucha’s leg. Butcher killed Marko during the break by tossing him into the air onto the ramp. Lucha manages to hit a Roundhouse Kick with his good kick and then actually drags MJF and Blade to his corner for a tag. They cut him off and roll him backwards but he still manages to make the hot tag to Jungle Boy.

Jungle Boy is on fire with strikes to MJF and Blade. Jungle Boy knocks Butcher off the apron and hits a Rebound Lariat on Blade! Jungle Boy takes MJF down and hits an Imploding Somersault Senton! Butcher grabs Jungle Boy from behind but Marko dives off the top onto his back.

Jungle Boy spins Marko into a Tornado DDT on Butcher and then Jungle Boy hits a Capo Kick on Blade knocking him to the floor. Marko goes for a dive but Blade and MJF catch him so Jungle Boy hits a Tope Suicida onto all of them! Lucha then hits a Step-Up Somersault Plancha onto the heels!

Back in the ring, Lucha tags in but sells his leg like he hurt it again on the dive. He still hits a Double Chokeslam on MJF and Blade followed by a Standing Moonsault on MJF. Butcher tosses Jungle Boy and Marko up in the air and on top of Lucha’s pin attempt.

Butcher and Lucha headbutt and strike each other with disgusting shots. Lucha hits a Knee Lift and a Tail Whip but Butcher answers with a Hansen Lariat. Marko tags himself in and puts the boots to MJF in the corner. Marko pulls MJF to the center of the ring as Jungle Boy climbs up top.

Allie distracts the referee and Blade shoves Jungle Boy off the top. Wardlow throws Lucha into the ring steps and MJF locks Marko in the Salt of the Earth for the submission.

Winners: MJF via submission (Salt of the Earth)

In a vignette, Darby Allin is shown wearing a Chris Jericho mask and he zips up what looks like a mannequin or something with a Sammy Guevara mask on in a body bag. He drags it with a truck.


Segment: Britt Baker, Big Swole

Britt Baker comes out for an interview with Schiavone and immediately starts ragging on Utah. She says she’s seen a lot of “BMI” (fat) and poor oral health in this state.

Baker says that it almost looks like we’re in the middle of a giant Family Reunion because of how similar everyone looks, suggesting Incest. She “urges” everyone to strive for greatness and suggests everyone there could end up following their dreams of being a plumber or even a dental assistant.

Big Swole interrupts her and says alls he does is talk. Baker says she doesn’t know why Swole is out there because she has no relevance. “The only person in your household that anyone cares about is your boyfriend,” Baker says. Swole reminds her that she is married and Baker tosses her coffee in Swole’s face before running away.


Death Triangle (Pac & The Lucha Bros) vs. Joey Janela & Private Party

Pentagon and Fenix drag Janela and Quen to the floor as PAC goes after Kassidy in the ring. PAC leapfrogs Kassidy and they exchange some crazy counters and reversals that Kassidy caps off with a dropkick.

PAC runs Kassidy into the heel corner and Fenix tags in. He goes for a Front Suplex but Kassidy blocks it and tags Quen. Private Party hit the Kriss Kross and then hit the Silly String! Pentagon is able to tag Fenix before they can get a cover, though. Janela tags in, as well.

Pentagon attacks Janela and runs into a boot and then a Diving Elbow from Janela. Janela hits a Running Clothesline but PAC attacks him from behind. Kassidy runs in and dropkicks PAC and then Quen dropkicks a charging Fenix. Private Party hits a Double Dropkick on Pentagon.

The heels roll to the floor and Janela climbs up top and hits a Plancha onto Death Triangle on the floor!

Back from the break Janela tags in and lays out Death Triangle with clotheslines. Janela hits a Tope Suicida onto Fenix as the floor as Fenix rolled out. The faces hit a Gin & Juice/DVD combo and then Kassidy hits a Somersault Senton on Fenix followed by a Shooting Star Press from Quen! 1…2…NO Pentagon breaks it up!

Pentagon hits a Sling Blade on Quen and Death Triangle destroy him with strikes int eh corner. Pentagon hits a Powerbomb onto the knees of PAC followed by a Ghetto Stomp from Fenix off the top with Quen still on PAC’s knees! 1…2…NO Quen kicks out!

PAC tags in and hits a series of kicks on Quen. PAC then goes for a German Suplex but Quen lands on his feet and tags in Janela. Janela tosses the Lucha Brothers to the floor and then drags PAC onto the apron. Quen leaps over both of them with a Somersault Plancha onto the brothers and then Kassidy dives off the back of PAC with one! Janela hits a DVD onto the apron!

Janela goes to the top and hits the Flying Elbow Drop! 1…2…NO PAC kicks out! Lucha Brothers throw Private Party into the apron. Fenix hits a Springboard Cutter on Janela after Pentagon kicked him. Lucha Brothers hit the Fear Factor/Ghetto Stomp combo! Fenix hits a Tope con Giro onto Private Party on the outside! PAC hits the Black Arrow on Janela for the pin!

Winners: Death Triangle via pinfall (Black Arrow)

Death Triangle put Private Party and Janela in a crazy triple submission – sort of like a Triple Crossface – that Schiavone says is the Death Triangle itself. Best Friends hit the ring and chase Death Triangle off.


Backstage: Dustin Rhodes

Backstage a pissed off Dustin Rhodes says he’s tired off Inner Circle thinking they can run rough shot all over AEW and he is going to be Adam Page’s partner tonight whether he likes it or not. “We are going to kick some Inner Circle ass and do some cowboy shit,” he yells.


Blood & Guts Rules

The rules for Blood & Guts are announced as traditional Wargames rules. Two men in the ring for five minutes, a new person enters every two minutes. Only way to win will be submission or surrender and there will be a roof on the cage.


Interview: Jon Moxley

Moxley talks about the beatdown last week and says the only thing he will say is he isn’t feeling well. Moxley says that he challenged everyone that if they wanted his title to come get it and that still stands. Moxley talks about Jake Hager and says that he has hit him harder than anyone else in his life but at the end of the day he’s just another guy in AEW.

He says that he is Blood & Guts so he wouldn’t miss that show for the world. He says Inner Circle tried to end his career and they almost succeeded but they didn’t. He says that if the Inner Circle as smart as they think they are it should scare them that they are in Blood & Guts with The Elite which means Moxley is in their “blind spot.”


Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs. Hangman Adam Page & Dustin Rhodes

Guevara stars off with Page and Page lights Guevara up with chops. Guevara backflips over a charging Page but eats another chop as he lands. Dustin tags in and they whip Guevara into the corner. They take turns with clotheslines and Rhodes gets a nearfall.

Rhodes whips Guevara into the corner hard and tags Page back in. Guevara shoves Page to the floor and tags Jericho, who hits a Springboard Dropkick as Page tries to get back in the ring. Page taunts Page by grabbing a fan’s beer and drinking. Page decks Page and takes the beer from him only to eat a Punt Kick off the apron from Guevara.

In the ring, Jericho and Guevara whip Page into the ropes. Page breaks through a clothesline attempt and hits a Snap Suplex on Jericho on top of Guevara! Rhodes tags in and clotheslines Guevara. He hits the Goldust Uppercut followed by an Atomic Drop and a Running Bulldog. Dustin hits a Snap Powerslam on Guevara.

Jericho hits Rhodes from behind and Guevara hits a Missile Dropkick off the top for a nearfall.

Inner Circle whips Rhodes into the ropes and connect with a Double Clothesline for a nearfall. Jericho hits a Running Back Elbow on Rhodes and then goes or the Lionsault but Rhodes gets his knees up. Rhodes tags Page and Jericho tags Guevara.

Page lays Guevara with clotheslines and then a Cowboy Kick! Guevara comes back with a Forearm Smash but Page hits a Springboard Clothesline on Jericho and a Fall Away Slam to Guevara. Page hits a Slingshot Plancha onto Jericho on the floor and then a Sliding Lariat on Guevara in the ring for a nearfall.

Guevara manages a Hook Kick and tags in Jericho. Jericho backdrops Page over the top but Page lands on the apron and lays out Ortiz who got on the apron. Page climbs to the top with Rhodes and Rhodes hits a Double Flying Body Press on Jericho and Guevara. Page hits a Diving Moonsault onto Inner Circle on the floor! Rhodes clotheslines Guevara to the floor.

Page goes for the Buckshot Lariat on Jericho but Jericho blocks it and locks in the Walls of Jericho until Rhodes breaks it up. Guevara tags himself and goes to the top for a Shooting star Press. Page moves out of the way and lands on his feet.

Page kicks Guevara and sets up for the Buckshot Lariat but Jericho pulls him off the apron and slams him into the barricade. Jericho tries to toss Page back in the ring but he bounces off the ropes and clotheslines Jericho! In the ring Rhodes hits an American Destroyer and Page connects with the Buckshot Lariat for the pin!

Winners: Page & Rhodes via pinfall (Buckshot Lariat)

Inner Circle attacks Page and Rhodes after the match. Omega hits the ring again but Inner Circle beats him down, too. Jericho hits the Judas Effect on Omega. Cody runs out and he gets laid out, too. Ortiz Suplexes Rhodes on the ramp, while Hager slams Omega’s injured hand into the mat.

Inner Circle attempt to Powerbomb Page off the stage but Matt Jackson runs out with a chair and lays out Jericho! He superkicks PNP and Double Spears Hager and Guevara!

Page locks eyes with Jackson and Jackson flips him off. Jericho then kills both of them with chair shots to the face.
