WWE announced that they’re partnering with Netflix to produce a 10-episode “half-hour, multi-cam comedy series” starring The Big Show.
Production is set to begin in Los Angeles on Friday, August 9, but there’s no word yet on when the show will premiere.
Here’s the premise:
“When the teenage daughter of Big Show, a retired world-famous WWE Superstar, comes to live with him, his wife and two other daughters, he quickly becomes outnumbered and outsmarted. Despite being 7 feet tall and weighing 400 pounds, he is no longer the center of attention.”
Really excited to get “back to work” and join the cast and crew of what will be a fun project. Amazing partnership between @Netflix and @WWE and thrilled to play a “big” role in it!!! https://t.co/YJftHgAtfz

Last month, WWE announced that they’re partnering with Netflix to produce a family movie called The Main Event about “an 11-year-old aspiring wrestler who discovers a magical mask and enters a competition to become the next WWE Superstar.” That movie will premiere some time in 2020.
