Although it wasn’t initially thought to be a big deal, Vince McMahon was said to be upset with Tomko’s heavier physique after viewing his dark match against Paul Burchill. It is believed that Johnny Ace stuck his neck out to bring Tomko back, citing his improved ability after working in Japan, but he may not actually make it on to TV.
