Tomorrow morning, at the FOX Studios in Los Angeles, Diamond Dallas Page, Lex Luger, Roddy Piper, Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine are scheduled to take part in a special roundtable for The Wrestler. The movie premieres tonight in Los Angeles, and there will be a sneak preview screening for critics in New York City.

WWE Creative team member Freddie Prinze Jr. has a staring role in the animated film Delgo. Unfortunately the film had the poorest opening weekend gross in film history, making $511,920 for the weekend.

Chris Jericho’s official website, chrisjericho.com, is currently not running. When you go to the site, you get the following message: “This Account Has Been Suspended. Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible” That likely means the server bill hasn’t been paid.

As of now, The Wrestler has a 100% rating on rottentomatoes.com.

Mick Foley recently spoke with New York Magazine and discussed the movie The Wrestler. Foley recently saw the film, and was very complimentary as he stated: “I walked in something of a cynic, figuring there was no way an actor could ever really get a feel for what we do without having done it. But within the first five minutes, I was completely sold. From an emotional standpoint, I found Mickey Rourke to be so believable. He made it so easy to suspend disbelief that within five minutes in the movie, I never once thought of him as being Mickey Rourke, let alone an actor. He was Randy the Ram. It was the little cues that really registered — like how he lived to get a reaction from people, even if they were just customers at the deli counter.” When asked what he thought Vince McMahon would think of the film, Foley commented… “I personally don’t think Vince will like it, because Vince really believes in the philosophy of keeping wrestling as entertainment for the fans. And part of that is keeping up the mystique of what goes on behind the scenes. I’m not sure he would enjoy a film that shines a light on the hardships that some wrestlers go through.”
