— Dixie Carter tweeted the following last night: “Great meeting so many of u tonight in town to see HardCORE Justice. You came from 26 states & 7 countries. Fun party!”
— Spike TV is pre-empting iMPACT! and TNA Reaction on September 9th due to a Gangland marathon.
— Here are a pair of reports from last night’s TNA Meet and Greet. You can see photos from the event here. First, from Scott: Last night I attended the TNA Meet and Greet. Really it should have been the ECW meet and greet but I digress. The night started with a huge line outside with probably 200 people in attendance. I must give TNA management lots of credit. This was well run and not just a quick hello of each wrestler. In attendance were Dreamer, Foley, Rhino, Sandman, Axl, Justin Credible, Swinger, Gertner, Fonzie, Bubba, D-Von , Nova, Scorpio, Stevie, Atlas Secruity, Big Sal, Stephen DeAngelis and CW Anderson. I think that’s all of the ECW guys. Val and Borash were there as well as Dixie Carter. I must say everyone took time to talk and they all looked very happy to be there. I was told that anything goes tonight including chants so it should be a great show and I am expecting fire. Again I must tip my hat to TNA as this was really special and truly a VIP experience especially seeing all the old ECW guys.
— And second from Kris Dizon: I attended the TNA VIP dinner last night and I have got to tell you all these ECW people are the friendliest I ever met. They went out of their way to be nice to us and take photos with us …. of course I’m with a really pretty girl but damn they are friendly! I’m taken aback by the kind of access the fans have … only because I think I hate the Axxess experience at WM25. So here is the line up on who is here so far ….. Bubba Dudley, Mick Foley, Bill Alfonso, The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, Stevie Richards, Rhino, Justin Credible, Simon Diamond, Axl Rotten, So Cal Val, Stephen DeAngelis, who was also very friendly. There were a few more but I didn’t get their names and I didn’t want to be rude asking for it. They offered us to go with them at 1 p.m. for their call time. Sandman is not playing a character. We took a photo with him and he reeked of alcohol and it was like 830.
