‘Tara’ Kayfabing TNA Return, ‘PWI 500’ Winner Is?, Borash Note

— Unfortunately there will be no WZR Radio broadcast tonight. Our producer and his wife welcomed a healthy new baby girl yesterday after a long day at the hospital. A newborn baby comes before WZR Radio and I want to congratulate Rob and his wife on the new addition to the WZR family! Congrats guys and we’ll see you next Tuesday night from 8-10EST. This had been expected for weeks now and it just so happens it came last night/today. My apologies and thanks for your continued support of the website/show.

— Jeremy Borash announced during last night’s television tapings that TNA Wrestling will be offering VIP packages (meet and greet with TNA stars) for every pay-per-view event.

— For those who may have missed it last week, a photo of Jeff Hardy at last week’s huge TNA live event at MCU Park in New York City surfaced online. It appears as though Jeff is gaining a ton of weight these days. He’s definitely a heck of a lot ‘bigger’ than in recent months. You can click here to view the photo. Update: We added a second photo just to prove that it’s the real deal.

— “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles has been named Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s “PWI 500” winner for 2010. He is the first TNA wrestler to top the annual chart, which is now in its twentieth year. You can view the magazine’s cover at http://www.pwi-online.com/ The issue hits newsstands Aug. 3.

— As seen at Victory Road, Madison Rayne lost the Women’s Knockout Championship to Angelina Love via disqualification due to outside interference from a person incognito in a motorcycle helmet. The mystery person was Lisa Marie Varon (a/k/a Tara), who recently agreed to return to TNA Wrestling. On Twitter, she has been kayfabing her return to the organization by writing various messages indicating she’s at home. In fact, she wrote late last night that she slept all day, thus explaining why she was unable to tweet much. Further indicating that Varon has in fact rejoined TNA Wrestling, she opened a Facebook Fan Page last week in which lists herself as a TNA Knockout — and former WWE Diva.
