More On TNA Ring Announcers Release, Terry Funk’s Return, More

— As noted several weeks ago here on the website, there were reports that TNA officials were scouting out a new ring announcer talent as David Penzer was considering leaving the organization. Penzer’s deal with the company ended later this year, and he had been telling numerous people within the company that he was burnt out. Jeremy Borash took over ring announcing duties at the Sacrifice pay-per-view with Penzer gone. Borash will continue that role for the time beiing. Penzer, a 21-year veteran, joined TNA back in 2005 and has worked solely on Television and PPV events. Penzer also worked with the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling from 1995 to 2001.
