The Reason Why Bray Wyatt Wasn’t At RAW, Orton/RAW, More

— As promised, former NXT Tag-Team Champions The Ascension made their main roster WWE debut at Monday’s RAW in Washington, D.C. The Ascension defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow in a quick tag-team match on the show.

— The backstage video promo from Bray Wyatt on Monday’s RAW was taped last week at RAW in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wyatt was not in attendance at the event on Monday night in Washington, D.C., as he worked the non-televised live event in Richmond, Virginia on Monday.

— It was believed going into Monday’s RAW show in Washington, D.C., the final episode of the program for 2014, that Randy Orton would be making his return. Obviously that did not happen, however he did make an appearance in the building after the cameras went off as we noted late last night here on the website.

Once RAW went off the air officially, Orton came out for a dark match main event, defeating Seth Rollins with a RKO. Orton then celebrated with John Cena at the top of the stage.

In case you missed it earlier, here is a photo of Orton from after RAW went off the air …
