The following are the results from the WWE “Tribute to the Troops” television taping, which took place on Tuesday, December 9th in Columbus, Georgia.
– The Usos def. Goldust & Stardust in tag-team action to open the taping.
– There was a big segment that featured John Cena and Hulk Hogan honoring the troops. During the segment, The Miz and Damien Mizdow came out and all four characters interacted. This was said to be pretty much what you’d expect, with a lot of comedy and a lot of respect towards the troops all in one “WWE-style” segment.
– Naomi, Emma & Natalya def. The Bella Twins & Paige in a “Santa’s Little Helper” match. Naomi scored the win in this one.
– Jack Swagger came out for a segment that was all about the troops. According to one fan report, Rusev and Lana came out and interfered, however we are awaiting confirmation on that at this point.
– Dean Ambrose def. Bray Wyatt in a No Disqualification “Boot Camp” match. Both guys did a lot of brawling, with Ambrose ultimately taking Wyatt out thanks to the help of a lot of different weapons.
– John Cena, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler & Erick Rowan def. Seth Rollins, Kane, Luke Harper & Big Show in the main event of the evening. After the match, Hulk Hogan came out and celebrated in the ring with the babyfaces with a big American flag.
– Florida Georgia Line wrapped up the taping with a big performance on stage for the troops.
