— As noted, Kevin Steen’s name in WWE and NXT will be Kevin Owens, which is a tribute to both Owen Hart and his son Owen.
Steen reportedly worked out in front of Triple H individually about two weeks ago. The company has already taped vignettes for his arrival at NXT, although they have not aired on the show as of yet.
He is expected to make his official debut imminently, likely at the December 11th NXT Takeover special, or at the NXT television tapings the next night.
— As noted earlier, it is very likely that several big-name talent will be missing next week’s RAW and SmackDown tapings. The reason for this has to do with the fact that WWE is running the two house show circuits on the same days as the tapings, meaning that unless talent is rushed from the house shows to the taped shows it will simply not be possible.
Expected to miss RAW are Dean Ambrose, Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Bray Wyatt and Cesaro. John Cena, Seth Rollins, Big Show, Sheamus, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are expected to miss the SmackDown taping.
Both tapings take place in Liverpool, England, while the Ambrose-led house show on Monday is in Cardiff and the other one on Tuesday is in Bornemouth.
