Bischoff/Vince/Bret Angle, Simmons/Linda McMahon, RAW News

— When asked on his Facebook page if he thought that the Bret/Vince story was being handled well, Eric Bischoff had this to say: “For what it is..yes. Allegedly WWE found out about a Lloyds of London policy that Bret had in effect AFTER setting up this match, and as a result Lloyds of London has to approve of the physical structure of the match. Can’t confirm this, and perhaps WWE has “bought out” the problem, but if not..could be disappointing. Either way, I am looking forward to it and am happy for Bret. Going back to WWE in any capacity was the right thing for him to do at this stage of his life.”

— Rob Simmons’ Senate campaign is really going hard after Linda McMahon on the topic of steroids. In his most recent move, he goes on the attack over the government investigation, why Vince doesn’t have to take the tests and asking who else doesn’t have to take them.

— Once again, USA Network won the weekly cable race, this time with a 2.3 prime time average prime time rating. Fox News trailed behind at 1.6. Syfy was 16th at 0.8 and Spike came in at 22 with a 0.7. The two hours of RAW were cable’s two highest-rated shows for the week. In the 18-34 demographic, RAW’s second hour came in at 10 with the first hour not cracking the top ten. There were eight episodes of Family Guy in the top 10 for that demographic. In the 18-49 group RAW was once again first and second.

— TNA iMPACT! on February 18 in the UK drew 65,000 for the first run and 75,000 for a replay an hour later on Bravo +1.
