Mick Foley Reveals The Text He Sent To Vince McMahon

In an interview with The Boston Herald, Mick Foley revealed that he accidentally sent Vince McMahon a text about Daniel Bryan after the Royal Rumble. It was originally meant for Brie Bella. Here are highlights:

On the text message he sent to Vince: “I was sending a text message, one I thought I was sending to Brie, and I told her I was going to get in touch with [Vince] McMahon. I rarely interfere in the course of WWE events, but when I do, I like to think my opinion carries some weight. I sent what I thought was my message to Brie, saying, ‘Give Daniel a hug and tell him how wrong I think this whole thing is.’ I was pretty new to the iPhone. My son looked at my phone and said, ‘Dad, you just sent that to Mr. McMahon.’ My next message was, ‘Oops.'”

On why you should go to his one man show: “If you want to hear unique stories about some cerebral characters told with a certain sense of warmth, my show is the place to go. It is a show of wrestling stories primarily intended for wrestling fans, but I always get a handful of people who come up to me after a show and say, ‘I’m not a wrestling fan but I really enjoyed that show.’ It’s important for me to create a comfortable atmosphere for everyone.”

On his prediction for the Money in the Bank ladder match for the World title: “I don’t have a favorite yet, but I’ll have a prediction (tonight). But I would have liked to have seen (Dolph) Ziggler in that match. I think he would have come up big.”
