WWE RAW Notes: Roman Reigns Makes His Choice on Paul Heyman’s Favor Owed & WrestleMania Corner Issue

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California featured Roman Reigns revealing his choice over the issue of his “Wise Man” owing CM Punk a favor and who’s corner Heyman will be at during his Triple Threat match against Punk and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 41.

Throughout the show, Heyman was seen waiting backstage for Reigns to arrive and looking visibly more concerned each time. This led to Punk showing up and having a friendly chat with Heyman as a black SUV drove up and Reigns came out looking upset over what he saw.

Reigns then made his way to the ring with Heyman following behind him. Reigns grabbed the microphone away from Heyman and talked about his praise of the fans for not betraying him like Heyman did. After some words by Reigns about why in his eyes Heyman betrayed him for Punk, Heyman responded stating that he did not betray Reigns and claimed he was just paying back a favor that he was owed. Reigns responded stating that he is the only person being screwed over by this favor. Reigns then asked Heyman why he has to pay the tab for Heyman and his “dumbass” favor.

This led to Rollins music playing to interrupt and him coming out to the ring. After some words talking about him commending Reigns for nearly putting all of the pieces together, Rollins stated that he has to end him at WrestleMania because it is the right thing to do. Rollins then talked about the high stakes for their match at WrestleMania and claiming that the business will die if it were filled with people not showing up until it’s convenient like Reigns. Rollins also stated the business would also die if it were filled with people who quit when the times get tough and come back to leech off the success of others like Punk.

Rollins then proceeded to bad mouth Reigns about his response to Heyman’s favor and stated that Heyman is willingly choosing CM Punk over him at WrestleMania.

This led to Reigns responding back stating that Rollins is right and Heyman had made his own choice. Reigns then stated that he has made his own choice leading to attacking Rollins and laying him out. This led to Heyman trying to proclaim his support of Reigns only for Reigns to shove him to the ground.

This then led to Punk’s music playing and him running out to the ring and brawled with Reigns taking him out. Punk then went to check on Heyman only for Reigns to quickly get back into the ring and speared Punk laying him out. Rollins then got back into the ring and laid out Reigns with a chair shot in reference to his heel turn on the Shield in 2014 and followed it with curb stomps to both Reigns and Punk. Rollins then stared down Heyman as Heyman was cowering in fears as the show went to a close.
