Mistico Pulled from MLW Battle Riot VII Due to Injury & New Match Announced
As noted before, Mistico is currently out of action for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre since this past March due to a partially torn right tricep and a ligament injury in his right ankle.
Major League Wrestling announced that they have pulled Mistico from their upcoming Battle Riot VII event on April 5th in Los Angeles, California due to him not being medically cleared to compete in time.
It was also announced that the scheduled MLW Middleweight Championship match of Templario vs. Mistico (c) has been pulled from the card as well and Templario will now be competing in a Three-way match against Hechicero and Esfinge.
Mick Foley Health Update Following Car Accident
As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley was involved in a car accident earlier this week and was hospitalized and diagnosed with a minor concussion.
Foley provided an update on Wednesday stating that he is feeling better and will be discharged from the hospital and back on the road on Thursday. Foley also stated that he will not be missing any of his scheduled bookings as a result.
“It’s been a little over 24 hours since I climbed out of this car, and I’m feeling very fortunate and very grateful. I do feel like I’ve been run over by a truck, but the idea that someone would be in an accident like this and walk away with only soft tissue injury makes me feel like someone was looking out for me! Thank you to all of you who sent well wishes.
I’m back on the road tomorrow and will not miss a single date!”
