Mike Santana vs. Mustafa Ali Announced for TNA Rebellion 2025

TNA Wrestling announced one new match for the card of Rebellion 2025, which takes place on April 27th at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

This new match announced was a singles match of Mike Santana vs. Mustafa Ali.

Josh Barnett Announces Several Changes for GCW Bloodsport XIII Event

As noted before, United Kingdom indie wrestler Lou Nixon was recently pulled from Game Changer Wrestling’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII event on April 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada due to issues regarding too many matches had been booked for the show.

Josh Barnett announced on Twitter that several changes have recently been made for GCW’s upcoming event.

Barnett announced that David Modzmanashvilli will no longer be making an appearance due to he had withdrew from the event. Barrett stated that this created a “gap” and led to talent being moved around.

Barrett also stated that Simon Gotch also will no longer be making an appearance and he was moved to Joey Janela’s Spring Break: Clusterfuck Forever 2025 event on April 19th.

“Filthy” Tom Lawlor’s appearance was also moved around and he will not be joining Jimmy Smith for the official commentary team for the event.

Barnett stated that “these things took place a while back and with the event coming next week wanted to let the public know.”


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

ASE Wrestling recently announced that they have pulled ACH from their ASE Wrestling: Vegas event on April 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada due to personal-related reasons. ACH had been originally scheduled to face off against Leon Slater in a singles match at the event.

Chris Jericho’s run with Ring of Honor reportedly is expected to be largely over, according to Fightful Select. It was reported that their sources stated that AEW/ROH officials plan has been for Jericho to finish up with ROH and he is currently expected to mostly move on from the brand. It was also reported that Bandido had been planned to win the ROH World Championship for some time since he returned from his broken wrist injury in late 2024 but he had faced a number of hurdles including him suffering an injury at this past December’s Final Battle 2024 event. ROH officials currently have plans for Bandido to lead the company as ROH World Champion. In regards to Jericho’s current availability for AEW, it was reported that Jericho is set to go on tour with Fozzy soon but only one of his scheduled dates is on a Wednesday and he is still able to work with AEW if needed.

Former WCW wrestler Crowbar recently reflected on Twitter about getting to compete at this past Wednesday’s ROH TV tapings for Ring of Honor in Baltimore, Maryland and thanked ROH owner Tony Khan for the opportunity. Crowbar statedI’ve been blessed to be able to have [been] able to do so many cool things in this business – more than I ever imagined. At 51 years old – here’s to yet another! In a recent interview with Midnight Kingdom, David Finlay gave his thoughts about fans comparing him to other past leaders of Bullet Club and how he wanted his War Dogs faction be their own thing compared to Bullet Club. Finlay stated “Yeah, my life has been nothing but comparisons. I get compared to my father, I get compared to the people I came up with in New Japan. Obviously, I’m gonna get compared to the BULLET CLUB leaders, which, you know, you’re in good company. You got Prince Devitt, A.J. Styles, Kenny Omega, Jay White and although, BULLET CLUB, when I took over, it was pretty close to their 10-year anniversary, I just felt like I wanted to do something different. I didn’t want to try and be anybody else. I wanted the War Dogs to be our own thing and I saw Gabe (Kidd) and Clark (Connors) and (Drilla) Moloney and Alex Coughlin at the time and it was just a group of guys that — especially the three L.A. Dojo boys. We had been through COVID. Took a lot of losses in trying to be successful in wrestling. So, we’re really just like-minded individuals of like, alright, this is our chance to finally make ourselves stars so, that was the whole goal. We knew it was gonna take time. We knew the fans were gonna be like, ‘They’re not the other leaders.’ But we never wanted to be like the past BULLET CLUB. We wanted to be our own thing.
