Steph De Lander Stripped of TNA Digital Media Title & New International Title to Debut at Unbreakable 2025
Thursday’s taped TNA Impact! show also featured the announcement of Steph De Lander being stripped of the Digital Media Championship and a new TNA International Championship to officially debut at Unbreakable 2025.
During the show, De Lander and Mance Warner came out to the stage and boasted about them being the Digital Media Champions and them being the best couple in all of wrestling. This led to TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella coming out to interrupt. Marella stated that they are not the actual champions since they never earned the title. Marella then demanded for De Lander to hand over the title since she is no longer the champion and stated that at this month’s Unbreakable 2025 event, a tournament will be held to crown the first-ever TNA International Champion.
Marella stated that this tournament will be in tribute to TNA Unbreakable 2005 where AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe vs. Christopher Daniels took place for the TNA X-Division Championship. Marella stated that in tribute to that match, every match in the tournament will be a three-way match. Marella then demanded to be handed the Digital Media title which led to a tug-o-war between the two that was interrupted by Sami Callihan coming out and attacked Warner. This led to Callihan tossing Warner off the stage onto a table and De Lander dropping the belt to go check on her boyfriend. Callihan then walked way to the back but not before picking up the Digital Media title and handing it to Marella.
