Lou Nixon Clarifies His Comments About Being Pulled from GCW Bloodsport XIII Booking Saying He Still Getting Paid, Josh Barrnet Responds to Criticisms Over Situation

As noted before, United Kingdom indie wrestler Lou Nixon recently announced that his booking for Game Changer Wrestling’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII event on April 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada had been pulled due to him being told too many matches had already been booked for the show.

Nixon recently provided an update on Twitter stating that the reason for his pulled booking was due to a small miscommunication. Nixon also stated that he is thankful for Josh Barnett and GCW for handling the situation like professionals and still paid him for the booking.

Following Nixon’s post, Barnett responded on Twitter criticizing everyone who had blamed him for Nixon’s pulled booking and insulted him over the issue. Barnett also stated that he was not aware of Nixon being pulled from the show until he was contacted about it.

“Love how a bunch of you raided my mentions, harangued and insulted me, and all over something I didn’t even know about. Lou is a homie of ours and as soon as I was made aware, I went to him directly, handled it, and made sure our guy was good. One show is one show, but we have plans with Lou and I always have him on the shortlist. For everyone that talked a bunch of shit and came at me like an asshole grow the fuck up. Do something productive besides acting like 12 year old on the internet.”

In an interesting note, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale also responded stating that Barnett is the one who books Bloodsport shows for the company and not them and this decision was not made by them.
