Orange Cassidy Reportedly Dealing with Potential Torn Pec Injury

Orange Cassidy reportedly is currently dealing with a serious injury, according to Fightful Select.

Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that the reason for Cassidy’s recent absence from AEW is due to him being sidelined with an injury. Those spoken to stated that AEW officials currently believe that Cassidy could be dealing with a torn pectoral injury.

Sapp reported that a potential timetable for Cassidy’s return is currently not known nor if there are plans for him to undergo surgery. Should Cassidy require surgery, he could be out of action for anywhere between six months to a year.

Kyle Fletcher Provides Update on Skye Blue Broken Ankle Injury

As noted before, Skye Blue has been out of action from AEW since this past July due to a broken ankle injury.

Good Karma Wrestling held a recent interview with Blue’s boyfriend Kyle Fletcher. One of the topics discussed included Fletcher providing an update on Blue’s recovery process from her injury.

“Definitely challenging, but also rewarding in other ways because as she got better and as she started going through her rehab process and she was able to get back in the gym, I was able to be there for her and help her through all that kind of stuff. That was very rewarding for me. Nurse Fletcher did good. It’s now Dr. Fletcher, getting her ready for the ring. She’ll be coming sooner than we think.”

Fletcher also gave his thoughts about how strong the Women’s division currently is in AEW and Blue’s excitement to return to it.

“You have no idea. She is like when something is cooped up for too long and ready to bust out. That’s her right now.”

Samoa Joe Comments on His in-Ring Career End “Probably Coming Sooner than Later”

A recent episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast featured Samoa Joe as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Joe’s thoughts about if he has thoughts about when his in-ring career might end.

“Yeah, I do a lot. It’s probably coming sooner than later, which is fine. I think a lot of people from my generation, from what I’ve seen, if that they have the ability, we’ve done our best to kind of save up and we definitely don’t want to out stay our welcome, because we may have been privy to a few people may have done that in their careers. So I definitely don’t want to be that guy in mind.”

Joe also gave his thoughts about if he already has a retirement date in mind for his in-ring wrestling career.

“No, I think it’s just really based on when my contract runs out. I think exploring those options as they go. I hate just saying retirement, because how many pro wrestling retirements never stick? All of them. So yeah, I will do this for a little longer and then yeah I think the end is probably sooner than any new deal being signed.”
