Mark Davis Reportedly Dealing with Injury
AEW is currently dealing with an injury bug that has resulted in both Orange Cassidy and Jay White currently being out of action for the company.
Besides Cassidy and White, Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Mark Davis is also currently dealing with an injury.
It was reported that Davis had suffered an injury during his match against Powerhouse Hobbs on the March 26th episode of AEW Dynamite in St. Paul, Minnesota.
It was also reported that this was the reason why Davis’ match with Hobbs was cut short and was not AEW officials original plan for the match.
It was also reported that details regarding the nature nor severity of Davis’ injury are currently not known nor a potential timetable for his return. Those spoken to within the company stated that they felt bad for Davis and brought up how he has worked hard to return from his previous injury.

In a recent interview with the Good Karma Wrestling podcast, Kyle Fletcher gave his thoughts about getting to work with Konosuke Takeshita in AEW. Fletcher stated “My husband Takeshita. What can I say about him? He’s beautiful, for one. Real nice cock on him, too. I’m kidding. Kidding, kidding. Apart from myself, he’s the person I enjoy watching in the ring the most. He has that style that is obviously influenced by Japanese wrestling and I love Japanese wrestling. It’s that sports aspect and sports presentation. When he throws a forearm, I think he’s killed someone. That is a lot of what is missing in today’s wrestling and something that I try to capture myself. When I watch Takeshita, I’m going, ‘He’s killing some people. Wow.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
In a recent interview with , “Speedball” Mike Bailey gave his thoughts about how he already feels at home in AEW and his upcoming match against Ricochet and Kenny Omega for the AEW International Championship at Dynasty 2025. Bailey stated “As you mentioned, this is a huge step for my career, by far the biggest platform I’ve ever been on. And to kick it off this early, I’ve only had two matches so far. And the next one I have scheduled at Dynasty is an International Championship match with Ricochet and Kenny Omega, which is honestly as big as it gets. It feels like it is all happening extremely fast. But in a way, I feel very comfortable and at home in AEW. I have already wrestled, been in the ring, been in locker rooms with almost the entire roster. And I have wrestled Kenny Omega before in PWG in 2015. That was a match that absolutely changed my career, its direction. Just working with someone like Kenny and seeing how his brain operates, and how he works, and how he goes about matches. Eventually I went on to DDT and got a much closer look on how he became the wrestler that he is. So, that’s a rematch that I’ve been chasing for ten years. Then you throw in Ricochet into the mix, who is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world. Certainly one of the most influential high flyers of the last decade. Now, as a person, as a human being, his behavior, I cannot speak on. But I am still extremely excited for Dynasty and that three-way for the International Championship.“
