Harley Cameron Comments on Puppet Mone Being Mercedes Mone’s Idea
A recent episode of the Talk Is Jericho podcast featured Harley Cameron as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cameron’s thoughts about how her Puppet Mone was an idea from Mercedes Mone for her to do for their storyline feud.
“I posted a thing on Twitter being like, ‘Me and Earl are doing Cameo.’ I guess everyone at work was like, ‘You’re a puppeteer?’ It was Mercedes’ idea. I still remember when we spoke about it and she was like, ‘Could you ever do a puppet of me?’ It’s so funny she said it because the moment she said it, I was like, ‘No shit, I was literally thinking about doing this.’ I actually made the puppet. I bought the puppet base, but the hair and outfit, I have to give a shoutout to Chris, the seamstress here, he’s fantastic, he made the gear. I gave some of my old gear to him and he made her gear. We created Mini Mone ourselves and the people love it.”

Backstage Update on Chris Jericho vs. Bandido Match for AEW Dynasty 2025
As noted before, AEW recently added a ROH World Championship Title vs. Mask match of Bandido vs. Chris Jericho to the card of this Sunday’s AEW Dynasty 2025 event. The announcement of this match was notable for comments made by AEW CEO Tony Khan during a media scrum implying that issues on Bandido’s end was the reason why this match was not originally mentioned during the card rundown at this past Wednesday’s show and why it had been removed from AEW’s website for the show.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that the reason for why AEW ended up officially announcing that match late was due to issues involving Bandido’s representatives.
Meltzer reported that these issues managed to get resolved by the evening of Thursday, April 3rd and those spoken to described it as being a “ridiculous” situation over the past few weeks in the finalizing of the match for the event.
No other details were given regarding this undisclosed situation.
