Mixed Tornado Tag Team Match
Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Marina Shafir) vs. Swerve Strickland & Willow Nightingale

We head to ringside as commentary welcomes us to the show, quickly interrupted by the music of Jon Moxley as he and Marina Shafir make their way through the crowd for our opening contest! Commentary addresses Jay White being attacked by the Death Riders, enough so that he is now out of the Owen Hart tournament forcing a reset ahead of the announcement later tonight. By this point, Mox and Shafir have arrived to the ring and out next is Willow Nightingale to a nice reaction from the crowd…who only get louder as Swerve Strickland’s music hits. The pair make their way down the ramp, where Mox and Shafir meet up with them for a brawl to get this match underway!

Shafir and Willow go after each other on one side as Mox and Swerve brawl on the other, with the #1 contender being sent to the barricade before Mox walks over to intercept Willow. He and Marina then set up a table on the floor, only for Willow to cut Shafir off as Mox and Swerve continue brawling. With the ladies inside the ring the bell has rung to officially kick this match off. They go at it until Willow has Marina in the corner, while Swerve starts to fight back on the outside. The pairs manage to swap places as Willow chases Marina on the outside while Mox lays into Swerve in the ring to some boos from the crowd.

Willow drives a boot into the face of Shafir while Swerve fights back, setting Mox up for a missile dropkick from Nightingale that gets a pop. They continue the offense until Shafir comes in to intercept, sending Willow to the corner as Mox sends Strickland to the outside. He then assists Marina in beating down Willow against the ropes as Nana tries to get Swerve back into the match. Willow is sent into the corner but starts fighting back until Shafir sets her up for a Death Rider by Mox…only for Swerve to get back in the ring, looking for a Big Pressure on Marina as if to force Mox off what he has planned. Mox finally lets go of the double underhook, with Swerve letting go of Marina as they go back at it.

They end up on the outside as Willow and Marina go at it toward the apron…where Marina sends Willow crashing through the table onto the floor as we go to an ad break on Max!

Back from break, Marina joins Mox in the ring to continue the attack on Strickland until Willow gets in the ring, intercepting for a tower of doom type spot forcing the Death Riders and Swerve down as the pair get the upper hand on Mox and Shafir. Willow with a high boot on Shafir as Mox tries to intervene, only to be sent to the corner with a kick by Swerve allowing Willow to follow with a cannonball senton before Strickland sends him to the outside. Spinebuster by Willow sends Shafir to the mat for a nearfall, and Mox rushes in to force Nightingale out of the ring. Strickland slides in and the two men trade strikes.

Mox catches Strickland for a sleeper hold, and Marina tries to keep Willow from making the save by cinching in a triangle hold in the corner…only to be driven onto Mox with a powerbomb by Willow to break the hold!

The ladies end up back on the outside as Mox and Swerve trade strikes again, before entering a biting contest that ends with Mox hitting the ropes…only to be hit with a Flatliner by the #1 contender! Swerve looks for a House Call from the corner, but Shafir saves the champ by shoving him away to take the proverbial bullet instead. Willow knocks Mox off the apron and through a table previously set up at ringside, and Swerve sets Shafir up for a Doctor Bomb by Nightingale to get the win!

Winner: Swerve Strickland & Willow Nightingale via Pinfall.

Swerve and Willow celebrate until Mox enters the ring, catching Nightingale with a Paradigm Shift to the mat! Swerve runs him out of the ring, but not before Marina can be brought out alongside as the pair escape through the crowd. Medics come check on Willow

Video: FTR

We take a look back at Collision and the match between Dax Harwood and Wheeler Yuta. Things took a strange turn between FTR, and we address this by heading backstage earlier today as FTR has Paul Turner here. Dax apologizes for his actions and pays $10,000 directly to Turner, but Cash seems none too pleased as the topic shifts to their own issues.

Dax talks about their road together and how one incident cannot eclipse that. He apologizes to Cash for putting his hands on him at Collision, promising a win for the trio…but Wheeler refuses a hug from Harwood, saying they’ll be fine at Dynasty but after, they need to talk. He walks off as Dax apologizes to Renee, and a graphic for Storm/Ford takes us to break.

Video: 2025 Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Bracket

We get a look back at what happened moments ago in the mixed tag match before taking our first look at the men’s Owen Hart Tournament brackets, revealing that Kevin Knight is replacing Jay White and this year it’ll be Hangman Page facing the wild card in a reversal of roles from last year.

Video: 2025 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Bracket

We get a look at Kevin Knight’s match on Collision before heading to the women’s tournament bracket, all the while getting an idea of matches being set up tonight and at Collision as a preview of the tournament that will culminate in the finals at Double Or Nothing.

“Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Penelope Ford

The champ gets an early advantage as she sends Ford to the corner for some strikes, but Penelope fights back sending Storm to the mat. Toni gets back to her feet but is just as quickly sent back down, as Ford takes control before we go to an ad break on Max.

Back from break, Ford catches Toni with a handspring back elbow and tries to lick Storm as a taunt…only for the champ to catch her with a bite on the tongue! Penelope breaks free to send her to the corner, but Storm fights back with a Lou Thesz press before sending Ford to the corner for a hip attack and DDT that gets her a close nearfall. A modified STF hold catches Penelope in a bad position before she gets the rope to force a break…and the action ends up on the outside as Ford catches Storm with a moonsault off the apron!

She brings the champ back into the ring, driving her down hard for a nearfall. Storm dodges a roundhouse kick for a German suplex, and then dodges a stunner to hit Ford with a Storm Zero for the win!

Winner: “Timeless” Toni Storm via Pinfall.

Storm celebrates in the ring as Megan Bayne comes out to confront the champ ahead of their match at Dynasty.

Backstage: Willow Nightingale, Swerve Strickland, Prince Nana

We head backstage where Strickland gives an update on Willow, saying she’s strong before addressing Mox after what he did. He promises that by the end of the night he will have his hands on Jon Moxley. From there we get a graphic for upcoming matches before going to commercial break.

In-Ring: MVP, Bobby Lashley, MJF

We get a look at the week leading into All In Texas before heading to ringside, where MVP and Bobby Lashley come out to a pop from the Peoria crowd. Commentary talks about Shelton being unable to arrive due to flight and weather issues as the other two thirds of the Hurt Syndicate enter the ring…but before they can speak, MJF’s music hits as he walks down the ramp. He teases signing a fan’s sign, but throws the marker away instead before he enters the ring demanding they cut his music.

“MJF” chants from the crowd as Friedman compliments the suit of MVP. He talks about “Bob” disrespecting him, but he’ll let it slide because he doesn’t know him like MVP knows him. MFJ formally introduces himself before giving kudos to Benjamin and Lashley…but says Bobby is standing on the block he made. MJF says he can help the tag champions hold onto the title as long as they please, and he knows they can help him regain what belongs to him…the AEW World Championship. What he’s saying is, it’s just good business.

He tells Bobby they may not want MJF but they need him…which gets Lashley flustered as he tells Friedman that out of respect for MVP he is not going to lay the former champ out right now. Bobby says he doesn’t like MJF and the Hurt Syndicate sure don’t need him. MJF takes the hint, leaving the ring as the Syndicate get ready to leave the ring…before the Learning Tree’s music hits, allowing the students of Chris Jericho a chance to stare down Lashley and MVP before heading to the ring for our next match.

The Learning Tree (“Bad Apple” Bryan Keith & Big Bill) vs. Namless Local Talent

Bill and Keith quickly make short work of their opponents, a strong kick from the Bad Apple leading to a massive Redwood chokeslam that gets the pair a win.

Winner: The Learning Tree via Pinfall.

After the match, Big Bill gets a microphone to address beating Top Flight on Collision and beating these guys tonight, saying he and Keith want their match at Dynasty for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. MVP starts to respond, but Lashley cuts him off and the pair leave to the back.

Backstage: Mercedes Mone, Harley Cameron

Backstage we hear from Mercedes Moné about the women’s Owen Hart tournament, which will see the current TBS Champion face a former champ in Julia Hart at Dynasty in the opening round. The topic changes to the tag match on Collision before Harley Cameron (and the Mercedes puppet!) appear to a pop from the crowd, as Harley tries to run a team name by the CEO to no avail. Mercedes leaves as we cut away.

Will Ospreay & Kevin Knight vs. “Vanilla Baby” Blake Christian & Lee Johnson

We start off with Ospreay and Christian, as Blake catches Will with a side headlock only to be taken down by the Aerial Assassin. He catches the former International Champion by surprise, mocking him with a United Empire gesture before Knight makes the tag. Kevin takes Blake down for a nearfall before Lee breaks it up, and chaos ensues until Lee and Blake take control…before Ospreay intercepts, and he and Kevin send their opponents to the outside for a pair of big dives forcing them to the floor!

They bring Blake back into the ring before Knight continues the attack, but Johnson gives an assist allowing Christian to take control as we go to an ad break on Max.

Back from break, Christian takes Knight down for a nearfall. He and Johnson double-team Kevin, who manages to break free to a tag to Ospreay…who clears the ring of Johnson before getting a nearfall on Blake. Christian fights back, sending Ospreay down hard for a 450 stomp before tagging Lee in. They double-team Ospreay before Will fights back with a Stundog Millionaire…and a big crescent kick on Christian!

Tag made to Knight who lays into both men, setting Blake up on Lee’s shoulders for a dropkick that forces a combination of a powerbomb and poison rana sending Johnson down hard. Blake is forced out of the ring as Knight hits a big springboard forearm on Johnson for the pin and the win!

Winner: Will Ospreay & Kevin Knight via Pinfall.

The pair celebrate before Tony Schiavone reveals to them that they will not only be facing off in the opening round of the men’s Owen Hart tournament, but the match takes place this Sunday at Dynasty!

Backstage: The Opps

Backstage we hear from The Opps, as Samoa Joe reveals what led to the group forming…and they will be keeping an eye on things at Dynasty!

Brody King vs. Lance Archer

Big shoulder charges to start things off, as the crowd chants “meat” in approval. The action ends up on the outside as Archer hits a cannonball senton off the apron forcing King to the floor. He brings Brody back into the ring but King fights back…until Don Callis leaves commentary to get involved. This leads to Archer taking the advantage once more, forcing King out of the ring and mocking fans with a side headlock on Brody. King tries to fight back but is sent into the announce table as we go to an ad break on Max.

Back from break, Archer is still in control after bringing Brody back into the ring…but King fights out of the corner, sending Lance to the mat with a German suplex. They get back to their feet trading strikes, before Brody hits a running cross body to take the Murderhawk Monster down hard. Big right hand gets a cover, but only a two count. Archer manages to get to his feet, hitting a cross body of his own on King before following up for a nearfall.

Archer gets to his feet, setting up for a chokeslam sending Brody down hard. Cover by Lance, but King manages to kick out at two. Brody sent to the corner as Archer looks for a lariat, but King fights back with one of his own sending Archer down…and follows up with a running cannonball to the corner! He brings Lance to the middle, sending him down hard for a close nearfall on the Murderhawk Monster to chants of “meat forever” from the crowd.

Both men get to their feet to run the ropes, with King catching Archer with a big lariat for the pin and the win!

Winner: Brody King via Pinfall.

Video: AEW Dynasty 2025 Card Rundown

We get graphics running down the card for Dynasty, as well as COPE taking on Claudio Castagnoli…and that match is coming up next!

Cope vs. Claudio Castagnoli

Back at ringside, there’s been enough talk…it’s time for our main event! Out first is COPE to a big pop from the Peoria crowd as he heads down to the ring. The music fades out as the crowd continues singing along, finally coming to an end just as Claudio Castagnoli makes his way out next to boos from the crowd surrounding him on his entrance. Claudio enters the ring…and blindsides COPE in the corner, forcing the ref to intervene and check on the Rated R Superstar before calling for the bell to get this main event underway!

Claudio continues the attack, sending COPE to the outside where he brings him to the barricade for some European uppercuts before the ref calls for him to bring it back in the ring. Claudio reluctantly complies, bringing COPE back in the ring to lay in some more strikes…until the Rated R Superstar forces him to the outside instead!

COPE follows him to the floor, bringing Claudio to his feet before sending him into the barricade as an act of revenge. He lays in some hard punches before bringing Castagnoli back into the ring, only for Claudio to fight back with some punches of his own. Headbutt by Claudio sends COPE to one knee on the mat, and he follows with an uppercut…only for COPE to counter with a backslide for a nearfall.

He keeps Claudio at arm’s length for some lariats, before Claudio fights back…even biting away at COPE, before laying in some lariats of his own! COPE drops him to the mat for a nearfall, finally ending the sequence.

Claudio escapes to the apron for a breather, but this turns out to be an error on his part when COPE catches him with a spear through the ropes, sending both men to the floor on the outside! COPE gets to his feet to get back in the ring, deciding to hit the ropes for a dive…only to be intercepted with an uppercut by Claudio through the ropes, forcing the Rated R Superstar down to the floor as we go to an ad break on Max.

Back from break, both men are in the ring as Claudio catches COPE on the top rope before getting back in the ring. COPE intercepts him, forcing Claudio down with a bulldog off the top rope…only for Castagnoli to hit a poke in the eye to set the Rated R Superstar up for a giant swing! He goes for a cover but only gets a two, with COPE blocking a Neutralizer to hit an Impaler…but this only gets him a nearfall as well.

Claudio fights back, twisting COPE into a Sharpshooter before transitioning into a crossface on the Rated R Superstar. COPE fights out of the hold, cinching in the Grindhouse as Claudio finds himself struggling to break out of the hold. He eventually gets to the ropes, forcing a break in the process. Both men are on the apron now, but not for long as Claudio sends COPE down hard with a powerslam onto the hardest part of the ring before throwing him over the barricade! He gets in the ring as the ref begins the count…and COPE gets to the ring just before ten! Castagnoli intercepts with a lariat for the cover, but only gets a two.

COPE runs the ropes after getting up, catching Claudio with a high boot to send the trios champion to the mat. Spear attempt gets blocked as Claudio hits a pop-up uppercut for a cover, but COPE saves himself with a boot on the rope. Claudio takes him down with a powerbomb this time, but COPE manages to kick out at two.

Frustrated, Claudio leaves the ring for a pair of chairs. The ref intervenes, and is distracted from seeing COPE land a low blow on Castagnoli to get back into the match. COPE sets up in the corner, landing a spear on Claudio for the pin and the win!

Winner: Cope via Pinfall.

COPE celebrates the win as commentary hypes up the Dynasty PPV.

Backstage: Swerve Strickland, Prince Nana, Hangman Adam Page, Death Riders

We then head backstage for another update on Willow, but Swerve is focused on finding Moxley as he walks around the backstage area. What he gets instead is Hangman Adam Page, telling Strickland he’s wasting his time. Page talks about making good on his promise to keep Swerve from holding the title. The pair talk about what they did to each other, as Swerve yells at Page about burning down his home only for Hangman to say he deserved it…to which Strickland responds “I know.” This admission throws Page off, making him decide to leave Swerve alone for now…before Mox blindsides the #1 contender!

He and the Death Riders bring Swerve to ringside, sending Strickland into the ring as they surround him. Mox tells Yuta to unveil what’s inside a bucket they’ve brought into the ring…and Wheeler dumps a small pile of glass onto the canvas. Claudio brings Swerve up for a powerbomb onto the glass before the Death Riders leave the ring through the crowd..but Swerve sits up, an angry look on his face as he stares down the World Champion ahead of their match at Dynasty. This staredown between Swerve, Mox, and the Death Riders lingers before we get a shot of the glass in Swerve’s back, as well as one final shot of a furious Strickland before Dynamite comes to a close.
