Young Bucks Gives Reason for Their Swerve Strickland Attack & Give Peace Offer to Death Riders
Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland featured the Young Bucks’ Matthew & Nicholas Jackson explaing their reason for attacking Swerve Strickland at AEW Dynasty 2025 and offering a peace deal to the Death Riders.
Following Jon Moxley’s victory over Katsuyori Shibata, the Young Bucks music played to interrupt Moxley’s celebration. The Young Bucks came out to the ring and briefly went face-to-face with Moxley and Marina Shafir that ended with Moxley and Shafir walking away through the crowd.
The Young Bucks grabbed a microphone and after some words, they stated that the reason for what they did to Strickland was due to them doing it for their good friend Hangman Adam Page. The Young Bucks talked about how Page never wanted Strickland to be the World Champion and how they love Page. The Bucks then talked about how they had hoped Moxley would have stayed in the ring since another reason for their actions was as a peace offering to Moxley. The Bucks stated that they have no problems with him and the Death Riders and hope he has no problem with them since they both have a lot of things in common. After some more words, the Bucks asked Moxley to come back out with his boys to discuss business.
“What we did for you, we consider a peace offering”

This led to Kenny Omega’s music playing to interrupt and came out to the stage. Omega talked about how the Bucks say they love their friends and bringing up them attacking him the last time they were in the ring together. Omega stated that he forgave them and when he came back, he did it for the safety of the company and not for revenge. Omega then proceeded to tell a story about how he used to have a friend in high school who had two dogs and they would never stop barking and pooping whenever he hanged out at his friend’s house. Omega then insulted the Bucks saying that is how AEW was when he was not around. After some more insults directed at the Bucks, Omega stated that maybe they should cut out the middle and for him to get in the ring and fight.

This led to Omega getting on the ring apron but before he could enter the ring, Kazuchika Okada’s music played and he came out to the ring. This led to Strickland’s music playing to interrupt and as the Elite were distracted thinking Strickland was going to come out from the stage, Strickland came out from the crowd with a chair in his hand. This led to the Elite scrambling away out of the ring. After some “Swerve’s House” chants by the crowd lead by Prince Nana, Strickland and Omega gave a fist bump and Omega left the ring. Strickland stated that its now buck hunting season and he is here with a loaded shotgun ready to blast some EVPs. After some more words, Strickland was attacked from behind ahead of their match that took place right afterwards.
WHOSE HOUSE?!

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured PAC suffering a potential ankle-related injury.
During his match with Swerve Strickland, Strickland hit PAC with a stiff looking Buckle Bomb resulting in PAC landing hard onto the turnbuckles. This was followed by Strickland hitting al elbow drop from the middle rope onto PAC’s neck resulting in PAC rolling out of the ring and being attended to by the ringside doctor. After some treatment, PAC went back into the ring only to immediately get hit with the Swerve Stomp for the pinfall loss.

Hopefully not too serious of an injury. #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/On2RBgXoYA
The abrupt ending to the match likely might have been due to an audible called over PAC’s potential injury situation.
