AEW held a new television tapings for AEW Collision on Wednesday at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois.
This taping will be for this week’s Collision episode on Saturday, April 5th.
This taping was held after AEW’s Dynamite tapings that night in the same venue.
Full results from AEW Collision tapings on April 2nd:
- Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher) defeated Powerhouse Hobbs & Tomohiro Ishii
- Max Caster’s Open Challenge Series match – Mark Briscoe defeated Max Caster
- PAC defeated Cash Wheeler. Near the end of the match, Cope & Dax Harwood came out and brawled with the Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta & Claudio Castagnoli. This led to Wheeler laying out Yuta with a piledriver only to then get caught in a crucifix pin by PAC for the loss. Following the match, Cope and Harwood embraced Wheeler after his loss and FTR and Cope shook hands and hugged in a show of unity ahead of their AEW World Trios title match against the Death Riders at Dynasty.
- Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa were interviewed face-to-face backstage about how facing each other in the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament is nothing personal, which led to things getting personal between the two.
- Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) defeated CRU (Lio Rush & Action Andretti). Following the match, AR Fox came out to help Top Flight leading to Nick Wayne doing the same and helped CRU lay out both Top Flight & AR Fox.
- Harley Cameron and Mercedes Mone with Mini Mone were seen backstage stretching and arguing over their upcoming tag team match.
- “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated Dralistico. Following the match, Ricochet came out and gave a low blow kick to Bailey from behind laying him out in the ring.
- Athena & Julia Hart defeated Mercedes Mone & Harley Cameron. Neat the end of the match, Hart locked in an Octopus Hold leading to Mone making the consicious decision to not save Cameron causing Cameron to tap out. Mone then left the ring and headed to the back leaving Cameron.
