FTR Explains Reason for Cope Attack at AEW Dynasty 2025
Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured FTR explaining the reasons for their attack on Cope at AEW Dynasty 2025.
During the show, FTR’s Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood came out to the ring. Wheeler talked about how his attack was not premeditated and how he had known Cope for years. Wheeler stated that Cope was dragging them down so that he could stay relevant and only caring about himself. Wheeler talked about was why he had to give the final blow to Cope.

Harwood responded stating that Cope was too dam selfish and how they had spent months doing nothing just so that Cope could chase his own glory. After some more words, Harwood asked for Tony Schiavone to get into the ring to address an issue he has with him. This led to Schiavone getting into the ring despite Nigel McGuinness’ protest to not do so for his own safety.

Harwood talked about Shiavone’s disparaging comments about them at this past Wednesday’s Dynamite show and him bringing up his daughter into it. Schiavone responded stating that he was just saying what Harwood’s daughter thinks of her father betraying his best friends. This led to Harwood grabbing Schiavone and FTR setting up a spiked piledriver only for McGuinness to leave the announcer’s table and got into the ring to put a stop to it. After a staredown between the two groups, Daniel Garcia ran out only to get quickly shoved down by FTR who didn’t realize who it was. This led to FTR trying to apologize over what just happened and gave a hug to Garcia before leaving the ring as Garcia looked on perplexed.
Nigel McGuinness came to the aid of Tony Schiavone. But, can Daniel Garcia talk some sense into FTR?!
