Don Callis Fills In for Nigel McGuinness on Saturday’s AEW Collision Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured Don Callis filling in for Nigel McGuinness for the commentary team.

At the start of the show, Tony Schiavone announced that McGuinness was not here tonight and Callis would be filling in for him on commentary for the show.

The reason for McGuinness’ absence is currently not known but it might be related to the weather-related travel issues that had affected talent and staff traveling to this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings in Peoria, Illinois.


AEW Fyter Fest 2025 Special Announced as 4-Hour Show

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured the announcement of this year’s Fyter Fest special will be taking place on June 4th at the Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado.

It was also announced that this year’s special will be a four hour show and while not specially stated, it will likely be split up into a two-hour Dynamite show and two-hour Collision show.


Jay White Confirms Broken Hand Injury

As noted before, Jay White was pulled from this year’s Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament due to an injury currently believed to be a hand injury.

During Saturday’s taped Collision show, White was seen backstage with a wrap around his hand for an interview with Lexy Nair. Nair stated that White had suffered a broken hand injury from a recent attack by the Death Riders and White confirmed that to be the case. White then talked about his bad blood issues with the Death Riders and Knight only replacing him in the Owen Hart Cup due to him not being able to wrestle against Will Ospreay.


Top Flight & AR Fox vs. Cru & Nick Wayne and Max Caster Open Challenge Matches Announced for AEW Dynasty 2025 Zero Hour

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured two new matches announced for the card of AEW Dynasty, which takes place on Sunday, April 6th at the at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

These new matches were all announced to be taking place on Dynasty’s Zero Hour pre-show.

The first new match announced was a Trios match of Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin) & AR Fox vs. Cru (Action Andretti & Lio Rush) & Nick Wayne.

The second new match announced was a Max Caster Open Challenge Series match of Max Caster vs. mystery opponent.
