Lilian Garcia Fills In as Ring Announcer

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured SmackDown brand ring announcer Lilian Garcia filling in for Mike Rome for tonight’s show.

The reason for Rome’s absence from the show is currently not known.

Cora Jade Suffered Knee Injury at Tuesday’s WWE NXT Show

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured Cora Jade suffering an apparent knee injury.

Jade suffered the injury during her match against Jordynne Grace. As Grace was backing up Jade towards the corner, Jade was seen saying something causing the referee to step in. This led to the referee giving the “X” sign and medical trainers coming to the ring to check on Jade as the match was paused. After some talk between Jade and the medics, the match was called off and Grace declared as the official winner.

Eddy Thorpe vs. Trick Williams in NXT Underground Match Set for 3/18 Show

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured one new match announced for the card of the March 18th show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

This new match announced was a NXT Underground match of Eddy Thorpe vs. Trick Williams.

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Thorpe and Williams bad blood issues with each other. Following Williams’ quick squash victory over Kale Dixon on tonight’s show, Williams’ victory celebration was cut short by Thorpe who told Williams it was time to end things between them and challenged him to a NXT Underground match in two weeks on the March 18th show. Williams responded accepting the challenge.

Roxanne Perez vs. Jordynne Grace Announced for NXT Roadblock 2025

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured one new match announced for the card of NXT Roadblock 2025, which takes place on March 11th at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

This new match announced was a singles match of Roxanne Perez vs. Jordynne Grace.

This match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Perez and Grace’s bad blood issues with each other. During the show, Perez was seen attacking Grace with a chair backstage leading to NXT officials rushing to stop it.

In a follow-up segment, NXT General Manager Ava was seen in a backstage press conference talking about next week’s Roadblock 2025 show and announced that a new match has been made and this will be Perez facing off against Grace.
